Good sound quality
Unlike many reissue CDs, these have a good quality sound like the original vinyl albums. I ordered another CD collection of the sad songs and it sounded terrible. I am so pleased I discovered the collection.

The Association & These are a fantastic series
They are generally 10 song albums as was the practice of those days pushed and pushed by the record labelssome groups were up to this pressure The Association was one of them, it is amazing that some of these groups wereable to put out such great work under those pressures not to mention that AM radio wanted 3min. max time songsand good music often needs more and those 3 min. songs just screamed out for more time and for the Midwest it wasa long haul before FM (Steely Dan's No static at all) brought us those longer songs.Anyway My point is this is the greatest way to get the early awesomeness' of The Association in this 5 album CD set that gives you the album cover as a sleeve for the CD...Buy a 300 or 400 CD player and load up on this AWESOMEORIGINAL ALBUM CLASSICS 5 CD set program Rhino Records we salute you for your doing this kind of release

2nd favorite 1960's group
Growing up they were my 2nd favorite group, the Beatles being my favorite. What I liked about the Associations were their harmonies and songs you could sing too. I can listen to them on a regular basis and when I do it will bring back some fun filled memories. I appreciated getting the 5 albums bundled together, which is a good deal if you think about the price of buying them individually. There was no damage and I have already listened to the first CD. No delivery issues,

Playback levels are nicely even between discs
2016 Rhino/ Warner โOriginal Album Seriesโ release of the 1st 5 Association albums (1966-69), w/(typical for this series) cardboard front/ back cover replicas of the original albums, fitting inside a slightly larger box (standard jewel case height but ยฝโ less in length) w/a picture of each album & a list of songs on each. There are no bonus tracks or booklet, but for this price, no biggie. Time for each album is about 30, 32, 32, 34 & 38 minutes. All tracks are stereo & I think it sounds great w/headphones, & of particular importance to me, the playback level between discs is very uniform (unlike many releases in this series) โ I like to compose my own playlist of only the songs I like (hard to do w/greatly fluctuating levels between albums).

The Association still sound great after 50 years
I LOVED the Association's first album, "Along Comes Mary," when I was a senior in high school back in 1967. My favorite tracks was "Cherish." I also had their second album, but I wasn't aware that they had recorded the other albums in this set. The first album still sounds as good as ever. I have yet to listen to the other discs.

Pure ambrosia !
Ever since I bought the single of Along Comes Mary & didn't care two hoots about its possible underlying drug lyrics, I've loved this polished American band. I agree with the comment they were a close second to the Beach Boys with slick harmonies & excellent production. Both groups had their Wow or Whoa factors with their albums output & The Association are certainly an acquired musical taste. These five albums are at a giveaway price & well worth having for any fan. Just listening to the majestic & sublime Requiem For The Masses is pure ambrosia.

Very underated 60's/70's band.
Good collection of albums ,which I hadn't previously heard, having only really heard "Windy". Albums just give a more rounded flavour of what they were about. Not just a hits group.my favourite album is Association, which doesn't have hits on, but has a vey good sequencing of songs each flows on from the other. All in all, a bargain collection from a trusted seller . Recommended.

And Along Comes The Association...
In this little box set are the five first albums by the American group The Association. A group with hits like "Along Comes Mary", "Windy", "Cherish" and "Never My Love". A group with their own sound (a bit like The Beach Boys maybe). Lots of fine tracks here!

The best of "The Association" in complete albuns
The first five studio albums in one pack, for a nice price.Good sound, carefull production. Covers are similar to the LPs. Small print, of course, but a kind presentation.About the quality of music, The Association needs no presentation (for whom like them). An excellent deal!
