Ultra-Tow 2000-lb Capacity Spring Trailer Axle w/Adjustable Spring Mounts

This axle worked great for my fishing boat trailer. Had to replace my old axle because I could not get one of the inner bearing races off and replacing the axle was my only option. Hubs and bearings for this axle fit perfectly, and in a few hours of work my fishing boat trailer is like new again. Hub, axle and mounting plate kit came complete and I had no issues; no shortage of assembly parts and everything lined up perfectly. The best thing about this axle is that you can adjust it's mounting location for your exact application. I would also consider replacing the leaf springs if your thinking about ordering this axle; just a suggestion.

Great axle for the light duty trailer I made however do not trust the grease fittings to lube the bearings on new hub installations. I had 1 hub seise up from the front bearing not getting grease. I recommend hand packing all the bearings first.

Hot Dipped Galvanized as described. The grease fittings on the end of the axle worked perfectly.

This replacement axle is a great fit for any small trailer. Make sure you get longer u-bolts if needed. And the grease fittings on the stub shafts push the grease from the inner bearings to the outer ones through the hub! This is amazing to anyone who has ever dealt with trying to grease the inner bearings!

Purchased item to replace harbor freight axle. The axle quality is fine, issues are with seller. I received the first axle without any kind of packaging, just a shipping sticker on the axle. This wouldn't be a problem except the axle states it comes with the spring mounts that are to be used to mount this axle to the bottom of the springs on a trailer. Contacted sell and they stated they didn't have any extra mounts but would send out a replacement axle and have ups pick up the old one. Guess what, second one had the same problem.Long story short, don't buy this axle unless you don't need the spring mounts.
