I’m adding to this review and changing from 3 stars to 5 stars. I accidentally threw my phone into a sink full of water. My hands were full of some items I was going to wash and the phone went with them. 20 minutes later I can’t find my it and finally discover it was at the bottom of the sink. Sick to my stomach I pulled it out and the screen came on. The phone was kept completely dry except for the front. It works as if nothing happened. I’ll buy this again. It’s cheap but it saved me a lot of money. If your a spacey guy like me, get this case.It’s cheaper so it’s cheaper. The edges fray. But I’ve dropped the phone to often and it’s still fine But it’s cheap. I knew it would do this

The reason the gave is that Amazon Warehouse Deals is not an authorized dealer.Original review: I'm using this on my iPhone 6S, even though it's targeted at the iPhone 7. Fits fine. Doesn't allow access to the headphone jack, but I've been using Bluetooth headphones for a while now so that hasn't been a problem.It's slippery. It's replacing my Speck Mighty Shell case that I used for over a year and still love. And the Mighty Shell was not slippery.10 March 2018 Update: Not the lack of any feedback from Speck in this negative review. In my opinion, they don't honor warranty in cases where they should.

I guess it's my fault for not looking at the picture, I just assumed it would be like an old Speck case for my iPhone 5s. The opening for the camera lens and flash is excessive. It leaves a lot exposed especially with the raised lens and sloped case edging. I will order from a different company I know where the case edge is not tapered and really hugs the lens and flash, leaving less room for breakage if dropped.

This case has saved my phone many times. I'm a serial phone dropper and the rubber spots give just enough impact protection that my phone is still in perfect condition despite being dropped a couple dozen times in the last few months. The thing I don't like is the rubber strip is peeling pretty badly, and that started within days of using it. Also, the hole for the charging port is kinda sharp and it's situated right where the pinky sits when you hold the phone. It makes for a sore finger after using it for a few minutes. I LOVED the Speck GalaxyS5 version of this case. It was 5 star perfect, but it set a precedent that this iPhone one just can't live up to.

I love getting speck cases because they're slim, come in nice colors, and protect my phone when I constantly drop it. My only complaint is they start falling apart after about a year of use. Mine usually break around the bottom of my phone. The rubber peels off and the smaller plastic pieces break off. It still protects my phone though, and at this price I don't really care.

For every iPhone I have purchased, I have always bought a Speck case with it. This case fits around my iPhone perfectly and it is not bulky at all. Additionally, its lack of grips makes it easy to slip into tighter pockets and bags. However, it also makes it easier to drop.The only reason I took off a star was because the case has already started to scratch - which is okay since phone cases are supposed to take the damage so your phone doesn't - but I wish it would have held up better initially.

Very nice phone case at a reasonable price. Speck has always been our family's go to phone case brand. Well constructed durable case, covers all 4 sides completely. Initially I was looking for a red case, but I didn't find one I liked enough for the right price. I settled for this bright purple pink so I can always find it.

Had phone case on for less than 6 months and it’s already cracked all over the top and bottom. Never had any issues with Speck before but I can tell the quality has really gone down hill. I’ll be using a different brand of case from here on out as I lost my trust in Speck

I bought a Speck case for my iPhone 6 a few years ago and was very satisfied. It was slim and protected my phone with no bulk. So when buying for an iPhone 8 I wanted Speck again. It was difficult to find a seller that would ship to Ireland and many ‘made for iPhone 8’ versions were out of stock at release. However I found an iPhone 7 case in the colour I wanted, after some lengthy research and personal experience I can confirm that the 7 case will fit the 8 very well and the design has been improved over my last case. There is a slight dimension change between the 8 and 7/6s/6. But the case fits perfectly and my phone feels well protected.I would recommend Speck for the range of styles* and bulk free protection, it works with screen protection and has a great price. In comparison my friend has an Otterbox which is fat and bulky and heavy, and it might offer good protection but Speck outclasses them completely. In my opinion Otterbox doesn’t hold a candle to Speck.*However I will say that Speck have a distinct lack of availability in Europe specifically Ireland. Of the many products I browsed, almost all would not ship to Ireland and those that would were not available in the colour or style that I wanted. However after emailing Speck, they do intend to remedy this - so kudos .TLDR — Overall the case is great and works well. Delivered very fast and at an excellent price.

A decent enough case build quality-wise, but I found that the shock absorption they've built into it makes it just a bit too bulky, and the rear of the case is unnecessarily thick. I couldn't comfortably use my iPhone 7 with one hand, and I have pretty big hands. It's like they're trying to bridge the gap between slim cases and 'protector' cases. I ended up returning this case and buying a Spigen case instead, which I'm really happy with.

Item looks and feels great, and protects phone well - I drop my phone regularly and this has prevented any damage.However, after a couple of months use the rubber patches on the corners and front rim of the case are starting to deteriorate. Also, the case has a hole for a 3.5mm headphone jack, despite iPhone 7’s not having one...

Nice good quality case, fits the phone well and feels like something that cost a lot more

For such an expensive price I was expecting more premium material.
