I’ve been using this for brown rice so far and it is amazing. The rice is delicious and the cooker is mostly easy to clean. It has a self-clean feature which is simply sterilization. Hand wash the pot with a sponge and wipe the rest with a damp cloth makes a simple cleaning procedure each time. Couple other simple tasks for maintenance around a monthly basis and this thing operates great. Only owned it for a short time as of this review. Hope it lasts for a long time.

Every Korean knows that Cuckoo makes best rice cooker. The Cuckoo rice cooker usually last over 10 years and mine was due for a change. This is more expensive model than my previous one but it is worth every penny. If you can afford it, just get it.. you will not be disappointed. I strictly use it for rice cooking only on daily basis and I can tell you that the rice cooked on this product taste better because it cooks the rice perfectly. It is like you being able to tell the difference between perfectly cooked steak vs simply cooked steak. Well, you need skill to cook the stake but you just need to push button on this one. If the price is out of your range then get other Cuckoo lower model but this is highly recommended product.

This rice cooker was purchased in March 2023 and is still under manufactuure warranty. We have sent it in for repair once and recently talked to the Korean main customer service about this problem but they say there is nothing they can do to help us. If we cannot get this problem fix in the USA, of was looks to be overheating the rice while in the basic cook mode, then we have no choice but to never buy there product again and warn others of this problem.

we have been Zojirushi fan for years. after a few replacement of the inner pot (usually lasts a 6 months to a year before it shows scratches and signs of Teflon layer damage), we decided to try this Korean product because we have been impressed by quality of our laundry and TV products made by Korean. It was an awesome decision. No doubt the price tag is high but the quality of the product is incomparable. Koareans put a lot of very nice thoughts into the design of this product and really paid attention to details. For example, when you need to wash your inner pot after cooking. the pot is hot but the handles are never hot. very satisfied and will buy this product again.

I've had IH cooker since it was released, about 7 yrs ago. I decided to replace it with recent cooker. First tried with cheaper $100 regular cooker... oh man rice tasted too dry... and tried Pressure cooker... still bit dry and won't last for a day... returned all of them and researched for best IH cooker for the price, and found this and CHSS1009 model. Comparing both, all seems to love CHSS model for popularity. But also found out this is newer model (2016) compared to CHSS modle(2015) and also has 2atm pressure capability, price is $50 cheaper ($530) I've been using this cooker for a week and I can say rice taste awesome and love its design.

This a large multi cooker with very high design and quality from Korea. Many functions. It does seem complicated but can be rewarding. The interior pot coating is not quite as durable as claimed. Still an excellent unit!

Package band was used as a carrying handle.That aside the unit works flawless and I will update as time passes.4 years later. Machine finally gave up on me. The family has used it every day possible since. Rice, soups, porridge and everything in between have been prepared in The cooker. I will not purchase again though I will look somewhere else. I expected a few more years of service from it.

I received a defective item which doesn't make voice guide correctly. Also, it had missing part which is lid. Amazon sent me a replacement but when I cooked rice, the taste was too liquidy even though I put really less amount of water with rice.The worst thing is amazon is trying to charge me for the replacement, too. Even though they didn't tell me to return the original item and they are trying to charge me again after throwing it away since it was my trash day. And now, amazon is trying to charge me for that.I don't like the taste of rice. Therefore, I wanted to return it but they required me to return the original item, too even though I explained everything but they just keep treating me a bad person and ignoring my emails after that.Even the headquarter agents as well. Amazon customer service is the worst.
