I don't understand why this cross has not been better reviewed It's well-made, a meaningful image, a good weight to it. I bought a sturdy PROSTEEL chain for it from Amazon, excellent value.

This item is advertised as being 4 inches in size, but what I received is 3 inches instead.That being said, it is an astonishingly beautiful crucifix - much better quality than I was expecting. The piece is a rich antique silver colour and it is thicker than one is used to seeing with cheaper crucifixes.I wish it had come with a silver tone chain or a cord.Despite it being the wrong size and also not having a cord, I am giving it 5 Stars because of its high quality appearance.

I had been looking for a replacement crucifix for years, that would be large enough and a design that was beautiful and reverent. This crucifix fit the bill, and I love the design with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit represented. I also was glad this was not a plated finish, which wears off over time and looks shabby. The corpus (body of Christ) is not abstract or overly artsy, but all around I was very satisfied with this. A good heft to the cross.

I really like this necklace and it is great because it is so sturdy.
