Good cables, good value.
I've used Cable Matters patch cables for a long time and they always work well. Having used several different brands of cables for work and home, I prefer the protective tang these use that isn't obtrusive. This is an example of a product that doesn't get enough credit when they work well, but everyone knows when they don't. Each of these cables was the proper length, proper colour I ordered, and worked flawlessly in my installation.

Works great, good price.
Got this when I bought an 8 port Ethernet switch and its perfect. Nice having every cable a different color as I don't have to waste time following the cable if something isn't working right. Not much else to say, its a pack of good Ethernet cables for a good price.

Never had one fail
I just buy these because crimping manually takes so long, for short cables it's usually not worth my time. They always work great.

Bulk Pack of Short Cables
I needed to build a small media center, and I needed a set of short cables. This was a pack of 8 3ft (1M) cables, snagless. Easy to use.

Good, short patch cables
Purchased some of these 3' patch cables a year or so ago to hook up some new networking drops. We were cutting over to a new VoIP phone system and needed to make another 12 drops live for new VoIP phones. Since they were working so well from before, we purchased the same product. They preformed as well as the last batch and surprise, surprise the price was still the same! That's great with the environment we are in today. Highly recommended!

Cable Matters 8-Color Combo Snagless Cat5e Ethernet Cable - They work well.
Tough to say much about cables, they work or they don't - these do. I used them to replace mono-colored cables on a multiport switch so I could quickly identify which cable fed what device (colors are bright & distinct). I didn't specifically test data rates but coming out of the switch they are feeding everything from surveillance cameras to Cisco Set Top Boxes to PCs without any issues. I have nominal 100 mb/s internet service and Speedtest.net on my PC says I'm getting 120 mb/s, so there's that.Took off one star because they're not 100% snagless - if that claim wasn't being made, they'd be 5 stars. They avoid snags by having a rubber(?) "ramp" leading up to the security clip on the cable side of the plug. That ramp must necessarily be flexible and if it encounters a small, hard obstacle when being pulled it back will bend, sometimes allowing the security clip to catch on the obstacle. My use is pretty much set and forget, so this is not at all an issue for me. If it's critical to your use, it might be a con.

Check them!
Had two bad cables out of 8! Guess the quality is not as good as I hoped. If you buy any of these, be sure to test them all before installation! Will save you some time! A little disappointed!

Cat5e Perfect for 99% of users.
Well they are what they are, 8 pack cat 5e, about as good as any home user needs. Cat6 shows slightly higher transfer rates because of the tighter twist but it's negligible for the most part. If you have 10gbps peripherals or are anticipating it then by all means go with the Cat6, if you need distance obviously Cat6e doubles your 10gbps to 328 ft. But Cat5e has been around the block for 15 years tried and tested and works fine. If this is from your internet connection don't worry you are not throttling your bandwith at all at 1000 mpbs, they are just now starting to offer reasonable packages of 50mpbs so it will be a ways off before you need to upgrade to get the cables for gbps, I mean years, and even then who would need 125 MB of consistent speed? It will come soon enough, Cat6 offers 10gbps, 10,000mbps that's 1,250mbps or 1.22Gb streaming constant speed. You see any internet packages offering that anytime soon? That is for the home user or technician who transfers a lot of data in-house. Cat5e works 99% with more than enough room for expansion for the average computer user.
