I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Ponycycle!!! I ordered it for my 23 month old granddaughter and she absolutely LOVES it! I was debating whether to purchase a small -vs- a medium one. I ended up getting the medium one and am very happy with my decision.. She is tall for her age. We ended up having to tape a small sturdy(i-phone) box to the pedals to allow her to reach them (works great)! She gallops off like a pro! Out of all her numerous gifts for Christmas, this is one of her top favorites that she enjoys riding on everyday!! Its very sturdy and durable and won't fall over when she get on it.I highly recommend it. Thanks PonyCycle! Truly one of the best gifts a child can receive!!

This pony is not cheap, but then again it doesn't feel cheap either. It is very well made, kind of heavy, super sturdy and has held up for the last couple of years. It feels like a retro toy due to the high quality.

Easy assembly. Smooth glide on hardwood and the wheels don’t damage the surface. Intuitive ride. Durable build and has held up well to very rough and near constant play. Just a caution—it does not corner well. Be sure to leave ample space to turn, otherwise it will tip. It can get going at a good clip and there are no brakes, so teach your child to give themselves good stopping room. Probably the best toy I have ever purchased. The recipient has ridden almost every waking hour since it arrived, which was months ago. Very, very fun! Excellent indoor entertainment if you have solid surface floors.

We purchased our first Unicorn PonyCycle 7 years ago for our then 4 year old granddaughter. Over these past 7 years that PonyCycle has not only been and continues to be enjoyed by our granddaughter but also by every child who has ever been to her home. We recently purchased our second Unicorn PonyCycle for a second granddaughter who recently turned 4. Like her cousin before her, this granddaughter is thrilled to have it and constantly plays with it along with all her friends. In another 2 years our grandson, who is now 2, will be receiving a slightly different PonyCycle, not the Unicorn.

My daughter love ths ride on and still rides it til this day.

This item is less bulky than it looks -- there is a metal frame, but the body is filled in via styrofoam -- kids can pick the horse up and carry it when it gets stuck somewhere.The horse indeed has no brakes, aside from the ones that keeps the wheels from rolling backwards. It does roll like a normal toddler scooter -- that is, it goes forward, but slowly rolls to a stop. Max speed is around 2-3 mph.It rolls across carpet and wooden transitions without problems, but if you're outside, any sidewalk tiles that is higher than a quarter inch will probably make the horse pitch forward.Any kid that like horses will love this toy, though. The little one talks to the horse and brushes the mane and tail, then rides around the house .The horse head bobs up and down while the legs move, so it feels very much like you're riding on an animal, rather than a scooter.

I bought the white unicorn for Christmas for my daughter. She said she wanted a pony for Christmas and we live in the city so an actual pony wasn’t realistic. She LOVES this toy!! She didn’t want to open anything else. Although this is a great toy, the one complaint I have is that after a few hours of riding it the seat and sides of the pony that her legs rub against has started turning green, does anyone know why this could be? Is it a defect? Can it be cleaned?

Hands down the BEST purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. My granddaughter is horse crazy and this fills the bill perfectly. No feeding, no clean up and great exercise. The pony goes together in less than 5 minutes out of the box, and is very sturdy. Her 8 year old sister rides it! Lots of good exercise. She brings it in the house and brushes it’s mane and tail like a real horse. She would sleep with it if she could! We bought two so the 3 and 5 year olds can “race” in the drive way.
