I bought it for my son, and it keeps him busy. Of course I helped him but as far as he understood the concept he started to puzzle himself. Good quality. I wish they could have a bigger extra magnet to keep an example card on the board. Other than that I think it is a good development game

A nice travel toy and a fun toy for anytime.But as another reviewer said, toss the cards that help identify the ensemble for each character, because they are sexist. All the powerful characters like the cop and doctor are boys. It's lowkey but still, I don't like to give gifts that promote stereotyping even the slightest. So toss the cards. It's fine without them. Kids can pick whatever outfits they want, in fact the funnest thing to do is mismatch like to have someone in a chef hat and ballet tutu.As for quality it seems great. Smooth edges, sturdy box, strong enough magnets, no weird stink. I was proud to gift this.

My 3 year old grandson loves it! It’s his top choice of games to play. He can spend hours on it.

This was a birthday present for a 3 yr old. It was a mega hit. He was very proud to follow a card image but was delighted to make up his own creature. Older brother likes it too

This is great except for 3 very important things:1. The letter 'a' has the curvy top instead of the typical style taught in preschool, and the lower case 'l' could be taken for an 'i'2. Some letters really need a line under it so you can tell which letter it is - for example - b, d, p, q, m, w3. Some of the pictures don't align well to the word - for example what preschooler is going to think of 'yolk' when they are looking at an egg (plus, yolk isn't exactly one of the first words kids learn how to write. Another example is the queen looks like a girl. I think they could have picked different pictures/items for some of the letters.Even with these issues, my grandson enjoyed this, and everything else seemed well made. I just REALLY wish some of these issues would have been thought through better and it would have been an easy 5. As it is, I'm going to give it 3 stars since there are so many things we needed to adapt/teach/write on ourselves.

I like this a lot but a good updated version would be to make the cards magnetic as well would love the dress up cards to be more hard and magnetic but other then that it’s a great product.

What a great magnetic toy. Magnets are strong enough to stay in place but still easy enough for our little one to remove and put back on. She loves to follow the cards - exactly.... while I like to show her you can make a crazy outfit or switch outfits between the characters. We kept the casing the magnets came in and use it as a puzzle when it is time to clean up. This makes sure we don't lose a piece.
