Caught so many crab with this
We used to go catching crabs with the cage (with chicken leg as baits), the best times we can get 10-15 in 2 hours, but most of the time we were only able to get 2-3. The tool is so useful and most of the days we can get 40-50 in less than an hour with this net. It is so fun to use it. It is also light, and you can extend it to pretty long. We drive Honda CRV to the shore and this net can fit in with no problem in the truck. It sticks a bit out in the back seats. It is also pretty easy to clean. We have been used this net in the past summer for about 10 times, and it's still like new. Would recommend to anyone who likes crabbing.

Worked well with a change
We were needing a crab net that we could use when walking out on the flats. Works well for catching the crabs, just had to paint the bottom half black so the crabs would not see the net coming and run. Net seems well made, so far have caught about 100 crabs using this net.

Not the highest quality, but gets the job done
Took this net out crabbing back in the beginning of August. It fits in the trunk of my suv and we caught 60 crabs that day. This net is sturdy and gets the job done. It isn't the highest quality best possible net you can buy but if youre looking for something simple, this is your net.The size of the netting is just small enough to keep grown crabs in. Babies will slip through, but we are only catching what we can eat anyways.Would recc if you are planning on doing some crabbing this summer. great net for crabbing.

Super long crab net
Would have been a 5 if water did not get into the hole that holds the pin when the net is fully extended---made the handle very heavy to lift

Great Dip Net. Super Long!
It's amazing how hard it is to find a good Dip net for crabbing. I kept running into ring nets, traps, and short handles bass-like nets until I finally found out about Ed. Cumings.I bought this for my father for Christmas and it's been working great on our crabbing trips this past summer! It's light - aluminum and hollow so it can sink and the net head won't keep bobbing up (We have a wood-handle net that does this)It's long - When it collapses (telescopes in) it's kind of too short to use but good for storage. Extended, it's quite long which can be a little cumbersome at times. What we did was drill a hole in the middle of the outer pole segment so the metal nipple would pop in at an intermediate length. It's got a good head - the size of the head and the meshing are both good. There's a good amount of slack but it doesn't get caught on the rocks really at all.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Great simple well made light weight extending crab net.
A simple well made light weight 8 foot net. Light weight even fully extended. Well made. 2 screws to change net if needed. Great crabbing net. ( Why I Bought It). Why buy a $100 Plus priced net other than some name brand status. Its hard to say too much about a crab net. But this is a great design simple well made extending net.

Great net for crabbing.
This net is exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. Was delivered quickly & arrived on time even after I was notified there would be a delay.

Perfect for catching crabs!
These are great! First time we used them, chased down 4 dozen crabs. They go through water easy, hold the weight of 3 crabs at a time, are plenty long enough, and the crabs don't get hung up in them.
