I think this is a very beautiful book I got it for my grandson so I can read to him he’s one years old we think it’s just beautiful

My little girl adores this book

This is a uniquely written and beautifully-illustrated book for young readers. The subject matter is broad (many different animals sleep, after all), the writing is crisp and fresh, and the illustrations complement the text wonderfully. This book could prove an interesting way to introduce sleepy young children to free verse poetry. The reader is struck by the care and thoughtfulness of this well-produced book.

I gave this to a 6 year old little girl whose mother had just passed. The little girl likes to draw. I hope the drawings will encourage her in this direction.
