Q: What kind of material is this runner made of?

It was kind of nylon but it was good for the price I paid and looked really good on the wedding day

Q: Will it need to be taped to carpet? If so, will I have a problem with removing the adhesive?

Please note: Double stick tape is provided to use at your discretion. It may be difficult to remove or stick permanently to some surfaces. Test a small, inconspicuous area before using the double stick tape.

Q: What did you use to get the tape off of the floor once you pulsed the red carpet up?

I have not used the carpet as yet, but from my observation, tape will most likely need to be added, in order for the rug to stay put longer. If you don't plan for there to be too much traffic on the carpet, the tape provided will suffice and it does not seem as if, it will be much trouble to remove.

yes it is about 15 feet long and about 2' wide, thin fabric runner
