A Full Course Story
I've always been a fan of the ShibSibs and when I heard that they would be releasing a new book, I was ready to put my order in. The pandemic slowed down the shipping, but it was definitely worth the wait when the books were finally shipped. I had my self-made ShibSibs bookmark ready to go, but I wouldn't need it as it took me just a day to read through the entire story. It is captivating, so much that you won't want to put it down. What did I like most about the book?I like that it connected the culture of Japan, with the excitement of travel and the amazing spectacle that is the Olympics. I had a few trips to Tokyo canceled including one around the time of the Olympics and it both made me sad (since I was not able to go), but also happy since I felt as if I was teleported to Tokyo.Overall, I think it is a perfect read for a middle schooler, but definitely a read for anyone, as it's easy to follow, yet also has a bit of mystery that will leave you guessing until the end. Pick up your copy today as it's definitely a book worthy of a gold medal!

Such a fun read!
Bought for my niece but ended up reading it myself first. Fun and fast-paced little mystery not just for Olympics fans. Lots of interesting tidbits about Tokyo and Japanese culture that I really enjoyed. The book format makes you feel like you're solving the mystery along with the kids. I recommend!

Engrossing book!
I bought this book for my 9-year-old. He normally struggles reading chapter books from start to finish, but not with Kudo Kids. It didn’t take very long for him to get engrossed in the story. He quickly became fond of Mika and Andy as characters. He also loved reading about all the different teams that were competing against each other. But what he loved most about the book was trying to figure out who the Masked Medalist was from all the clues that were being shared. He couldn’t put the book down because of it. Highly recommend this book!

A MUST BUY - EXCELLENT, INTRIGUING, FUN AND EXCITING!!
Just like the ShibSibs are world and Olympic champions, they have just won another metal with this book. This is a great book. Even though this book's target market is for ages 8 to 12, it is a fun and interesting story to read for all ages. I am now anxious to read their next book. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO ENJOYS READING A FUN BOOK. It would make a great present for someone.

My son couldn't put this book down
My 11 year old is a picky reader and it's been tough to get him to read anything new lately - but he loved this book so much and couldn't put it down until he finished it. He said it was "really clever" and that it reminded him of "an escape room." I really hope the Shibutani's write more adventures of the Kudo Kids!
