New Kid and Class Act: The Box Set

My son has the third book also. He loves the story line, he's told me in kid words, he can really relate. And there are tons of pictures to keep him engaged.

I purchased these as a my son is struggling with some of the same issues in a new school. I find it absurd that Katy ISD would try to get rid of one of the few books available in school libraries that resonate with students of color. I never write reviews but these books are fantastic and access to them in libraries is critical.

Read an article somewhere that people were trying to ban this book. More CRT bs. Voted with my money and purchased for spite.It was an okay book. Will read to/with my kids when they’re of age.

What a joy. Well, written and entertaining. A real treasure

I am using Jerry’s work as a resource for my art class comic unit! It is so great to be able to share a variety of resources with my students. They live the stories as well!

It was a beautifully done comic book for kids. I enjoyed looking at it and reading it. I have to thank the people that tried to ban it, for bringing it too my attention.

My son and I both loved the stories and he could relate to so many of the situations. Books we will be reading again and again!
