I've read all of the Afterlife, Transfusion and Hellbeast series and I love them but soul really like to see Vincent's story finished. The 2nd book was supposed to come out 2018 according the ending. Am I missing it somewhere???

I didn’t like the flipping back and forth between time lines but it was easier to follow as you progress in the book. I’m only giving it a 4 because I just noticed there is no book 2… I understand she goes back in time.. and it kinda shows her side.. but not really… why does she have the gift for chosen ones to get pregnant.. why does her being fallen have to do with dying to break the curse?… what is Vincent’s curse.. the whole book focuses on him having a curse but it never is explained what or why it has happened. Out of all Stephanie’s books this was probably the most disappointing.

...in a million years, that this would be their story. An absolutely outstanding start. I can't wait for the second book.

I read all of afterlife and was interested in learning more of Vincent and Ari's story, I didn't realize however that this wasn't a finished book or I would have waited to read it and started lucius first. Overall I think it was a good read, a little slow in spots and some seem repetitive but I enjoyed it.

I like how she wove between Ari’s visions of past and future as well as inform us what Vincent has hidden and did not realize, especially when he confirms Ari”s worst fears. Can’t wait to read the next installment!

An angel and an woman keep meeting, falling in love and then losing their memories of each other through out centuries. Will they ever final stop the heartache and be together.

There is no other way to describe this particular novel other than unusual and therefore unique. It flips back and forth between various time periods, giving the reader insightful information into Arianna's past and how it connects to both Vincent, and Kiera/Katie's "lives," and the Hexad's existence. As a result Ms. Hudson takes us on a wild, and I do mean WILD journey through time that ranges from medieval England to Jack the Ripper's London, to the present day. Each paragraph is more action packed than the one before, filled with thrills, chills, and reasons to keep going to the last page. Conversely, the Chapters are even more poignant: alternating between intense love scenes, and I do mean INTENSE bordering on near Submissive and clearly platonic. With such mixed signals Ari and Vincent both have issues understanding what has happened to cause their separation/curse....

Endlich erfahren wir mehr über die Geschichte von Ari. Und am Ende ihre unsterbliche Vergangenheit und Zukunft mit Vincent. Aber endet sie glücklich? Man weiß es nicht. Man stolpert von einer Erkenntnis zur neuen. Man hofft nach jeder Seite mehr endlich die Erlösung zu finden. Die Erlösung für beide. Couldn't put the book down, it was a great read can't wait to read book two to see where take headed and how they will get to break the curse.

Well after stumbling though this book I actually found myself enjoying it and now can’t wait for a further book to complete the story of Vincent

Ich habe mit der Afterlife Saga begonnen, Transfusion gelesen, Hellbeast bis zum derzeit verfügbaren letzten Band und nun Vincent & Ari's Story.Ich finde grundlegend, kann man nach Afterlife Vincents Story lesen.Aris Vergangenheit hat mich schon interessiert und es sind in dem Buch bis zum Cliff einige Fragen beantwortet. Es ist lesenswert, wie alle Bücher der Autorin aber ich finde nur auf Englisch sind sie besser als die Übersetzungen.Die Charaktäre sind alle so divers, so komplex und diese erfundene Welt der Autorin ist unfassbar fesselnd und rührend.Ich freue mich auf die Fortsetzung, warte aber auch Sehnsüchtig auf weitere Bücher von ihr zu den anderen Protas.Mir persönlich hat es Lucius besonders angetan sowie Jared ❤️Vincent überzeugt mich nicht aber das Buch ist trotzdem klasse.
