Mixt Energy is my first dab into the world of gaming energy supplements, and "Blue Raspberry" is one of the flavors I picked to be my first. Since this is my first taste of this kind of product (have never tried G Fuel or other brands so I have nothing to compare it to), when you say that something is raspberry flavored you'd expect it to be tart with a touch of sweet - however this one tastes like sugar water. It reminds me of a bland blue-colored "Pixy Stix" actually. The taste is tolerable since I like Pixy Stix, but it's nowhere near what you'd describe as raspberry flavored.For the energy output though, it doesn't disappoint, I can feel the difference and my body reacts to it way better than coffee or other ready-to-drink energy drinks. Since it's zero calories, it supports my effort to lose weight too.Will I continue using Mixt? Yes, but probably not this flavor. I was expecting it to taste great because it had one of the highest and most reviews on the official website.

At first I thought maybe the powder had somehow separated in transit, so I shook the cannister and made more, but in my honest opinion, this flavor tastes like Tums all the way down to the chalky taste. Not "gross", just Tums.I usually mix it with other mixes, and/or add in a bit of lime juice concentrate to brighten it up, but it does increase the cost-per-serving quite a bit.

One day I was on Twitch watching a random person and I saw that he was advertising MIXT. I looked into it and bought myself the sample pack. Of the four flavors were Rainbow Candy, Fruit Punch, Blue Berry, and Lemonade. In my opinion Lemonade is the worst. My favorite is Rainbow and Fruit.Now that I've stated which I like and dislike, I'm going to talk about differences in texture and taste between MIXT and GFUEL. I have only tasted these two brands so I can't compare to others. Simply explaining everything, I enjoy both brands. GFUEL has more flavor, more taste, more grainy/powdery/chalky feel. MIXT has a more watered down tatse (which I actually like), It does not have a Chalk taste to it, the flavors are strong like GFUEL but I don't mind that. As far as Energy goes, neither of them gives me energy. It just doesn't, it's more of an electrolite drink for me .MIXT is good to me (specifically Rainbow Candy and Fruit Punch). I don't drink MIXT because I want energy or expect energy, for me it's a replacement to drinking other drinks like juice and soda. I try not to drink soda for lunch or dinner so I usually stick to MIXT or water. May be it sounds weird to drink MIXT with food but it certainly beats soda and juice.In the end, if you want to try MIXT, GFUEL or any other brand out there I highly recommend you pick up their sample packs because of the variety in flavors and it won't be as expensive as to buying a tub.

I first tried mixt back in November 2021, loved it. Rainbow candy and starfruit burst were amazing. Then I ordered another starfruit and it was different, not bad, but not like the first container. So I got another Rainbow which was awesome. Just like the first purchase. But I recently got another Rainbow candy and it tastes awful. I could tell it was different because the powder itself was blue instead of white. Not sure if I've just received a weird batch or if they're changing the recipe, but I don't know if I'll get more if it's going to be like this. Many other brands to choose from

This is the first flavor of MIXT Energy I've tasted, and I'll say it's good! The flavor is quite sweet for the dosage, and though it could mix a bit better in water (it does leave some white residue, as many powder-based drinks are likely to do), and I do prefer a bit more tartness in the flavoring, it is nevertheless a tasty alternative to coffee or canned energy drinks with enough of an energy kick.LIKED:• Flavor was sweet and simple.• It doesn't take heaping spoonfuls for flavor or kick to be effective.• No Prop 65 ingredients (like a particular leading powdered energy beverage does...)COULD USE WORK:• I prefer a slightly more sour/tart Blue Raspberry (though this is personal preference)• It could mix just a bit better in water (though it does so satisfactorily).I'd give it 4.5 stars instead of just 4, but alas, Amazon doesn't seem to allow for half rates at the time.

I always try the budget option first, but this product was bad. Flavor was bland and astringent and the texture was very chalky. G fuel is 5$ more and not only actually enjoyable but the caffeine feel is better/cleaner. Would urge you to learn from my mistake on this one.

This doesn't mix well at all so you have to shake it before every sip. Taste is decent, not great but not bad. It still gets 4 stars from me for how cheap it is. Gfuel is just as chalky and double the price. If you're willing to pay the extra money go with Rogue but when I was working 12h shifts and drinking like 3-4 energy drinks a day this was great for that.

The rainbow candy flavor tastes like Skittles flavored cotton candy. It's sweet without having an overly strong artificial flavor. My big gripe is that, no matter how hard I stir, there's always reside at the bottom of my cup that gives a gritty texture to the second half of my glass.Good amount of energy as well, and this product is the most cost effective energy powder I've personally tried.

I was looking for a "5 Hour Energy" drink replacement because of the expense and the wasteful packaging.THIS MIXT Energy Drink Mix, Energy Powder Orange Sherbet really does work. Maybe too well?Thank goodness it includes a scoop (you need to dig for it) to get the dose correct because I think that too large of a dose could be harmful... there are warnings not to consume more than one dose per day! Please heed that warning.I'd also caution anyone with heart conditions not to consume this product, but such people also shouldn't consume any similar product, like Red Bull, Rock Star, or 5-hour energy.To those complaining that this product makes their heart "race"... yes, it will and it may elevate blood pressure too, just like any similar product.Some of what I wrote may seem negative, however, this is ** a full endorsement of MIXT **It simply does EXACTLY what they claim and you may notice an energy boost within minutes!Just consume this product responsibly!** ONE COMPLAINT **WHY does this company add artificial colour to the product? The Orange Sherbet is least coloured, but the others have way too much colouring. When companies like MIXT add ridiculous and unnecessary colouring, it tells me that they are treating us like kids or we are stupid! I don't want my tongue to be coloured b/c I consumed one of these products, and more importantly, some of the colours used have been banned in some countries b/c they are potential carcinogens. Red 40, Yellow 5 and Yellow 6 may contain contaminants that are known cancer-causing substances. Benzidine, 4-aminobiphenyl and 4-aminoazobenzene are potential carcinogens.The colouring serves no purpose so why add it and risk our health? Because of the dyes, this will be my first and last purchase of MIXT. I'll look for a company that doesn't treat its customers as if they are dumb.

Good product and tastes great. Use most mornings. Bought twice now and will try another flavour. Can recommend Blue Raspberry.

This is a way cheaper and better product than expensive energy drinks! We love the Blue Slushy, Watermelon, Candy and Grape!

Good stuff. Only need a little to make a big drink. its more sweet than I like, but thats just me. I add a tsp of lemon juice to it to make it more tart for my taste. Great alternative to buying energy drinks at the store everyday.

Edited review May 6, 2022:So far, I’ve bought the watermelon and the pineapple flavours. So far, taste and performance wise, it’s proven to be on point.The downside is, yes it is a little bit grainy. I have noticed that pineapple also takes longer to dissolve completely (shaking it up does not help, you have to wait for the powder itself to become saturated and it will eventually start to dissolve on its own), but it will eventually dissolve completely with the exception of the small white particles that are present with the watermelon also, which is simply the vitamins of the energy drink such as taurine that have been powdered. Given that I’m saving money, I’m not put off by this.Things are getting more expensive all of the time, and I was looking for a way to save some money on my energy drink habit. Even using the powder in conjunction with the Sodastream in our house, it still works out to be at least a 30%+ savings for me including cost of the powder and the gas for the Sodastream.Overall, I’d suggest giving it a try if you are a gamer or a regular consumer of energy drinks. On a side note: I’m really hoping they hurry up and restock the Peach flavour!
