Q: Can you put silicone beads on this?

I think it is a bit thick but if the holes are big in the beads and then go for it. It is a bulky weight so most beads will not go through the hole.

Q: How quick are the color changes in the variegated skeins?

I'm measuring about 3-4 inches for each color change.
