Muddy Max: The Mystery of Marsh Creek

This is a very amusing story about a boy who lives in a neighborhood where mud abounds, and yet his parents seem to be neat-freaks who can't abide the idea of him getting the least bit dirty. But is there more to it than that? This is a quirky but highly entertaining story that anyone who's ever had to deal with either muddy kids or overly-neat parents will get a kick out of.

This was for my 10yr old son whom enjoys graphic novels for fun reading. The book just got delivered today and he said "thanks, for the book mom this is really good, I already read to page 65."

Awesome book! I wish I still taught 1st grade because i would make it a must read. The mystery is fun, and dealing with the topic of bullying within the story is a surefire way of bringing up the issue without preaching. The illustrations are perfect and make the story so real. Can't wait to share it.

An excellent story with exceptional illustrations that capture the imagination of young and old readers. This is a huge effort and accomplishment, and I almost felt a little guilty paying only $9 for such an immense body of work. Kudos!

the illustrator for this book came and spoke to my daughters 1st grade class and now this book is the "go to" book my daughter loves to give for birthday parties.
