Q: Will they fit a 14 year old?

They may be big but they could work. Lenses from top to bottom are about 1.5 inches.

Q: Could you see the eyes through the lenses?

Not much, I'm picky about that. They are a lot darker than most sunglasses.

Q: Can i use this frame for glasses for day to day?

I have used mine daily for a few months; I would suggest putting them in a case when not in use as the frame has loosened up a little. Just tightened the screws & the glasses are fine.
