I'm happy
If this one is anything like the previous one I had, I hope you folks will be around in 15 years for another one!

Solid built and reliable watch
I got this watch to wear on the outside of my Ski Patrol jacket. It often endures temperatures approaching -40 and remains actuate. Two years and going strong!

Would recommend.
I don't like wearing a wristwatch and I don't always have my cell phone with me. Can attach to a belt loop or simply stick it in my pocket. This watch is perfectly sized to fit into the small change pocket found in the right side pocket of men's pants. Watch face does not glow in the dark, but there is a small red light for illumination in the dark. Keeps accurate time. Would buy another one.

I'd call this purchase a wash, not a watch. And definitely not a wrist watch, which is what I should get...
It's not a great watch based on several experiences I've had over time. It's sturdy and dependable, however I've never gotten into the habit of depending on it. It's sturdy but far heavier than its slim lines would suggest. It topples my purse where it's attached when I'm not wearing it, which is ok in itself, but when I gently set the purse down, the watch sometimes slams into the surface as if our fine earth's gravity has transformed into something akin to Jupiter's. Perhaps I should purchase a new purse to adapt to the watch - one made of the firmest of leathers. At the same time it's held up to a good amount of abuse. Well, mechanically it has. The paint has rubbed off around the edges and is polished metal where I've attached it to my purse - admittedly to a metal ring connecting said purse to the strap- so there's certainly quite a bit of wear that should be taken into account that wouldn't have happened if worn on a pant loop (which I'm assuming is the standard).Well, but alas, when I wear it like that while sitting on my couch with legs extended and happen to pull up my leg in the bent position there's a chance that this industrial slab of metal will impale me in the stomach. It's done it a few times, though maybe I'm just too active here sitting on my couch.... Perhaps I should lock myself in standing position or keep my legs away from my body and give it another go. Or maybe I'll become a nurse like so many others who seem to really like it, and then maybe I'll be a better "fit" for it.Speaking of fit, I've had a few of them trying to read the time. The numbers 12, 3, 6, 9, as well as the hands are shiny metal and rather difficult to see. It looks svelte, but I bought this for more of a utilitarian effort, you know, like to tell time. I thought I'd be using this as a timepiece rather than my phone but this habit has never caught on because of the dedication necessary to decipher the time. Ok, I'm exaggerating a bit here, but it's really not that readable.Lastly (if you've stuck around this long) I was pretty excited that it had a little red flashlight, but the most use that light has provided is an extra little pressure point nugget for which this beast can more easily penetrate my soft underbelly. Additionally, I have never used it for its purpose - forgetting it's there.I'm bummed. It's fascinating how I can be swayed by hordes of excellent ratings only to buy an overpriced and truly tedious hunk of metal that is unbelievably still attached to my purse but which I haven't had the will to remove because it will just end up in my jewelry box along with all the other never-worn metallic detritus. I suppose what could truly be a solution is the old stand-by: aka a wrist watch.
