These coasters function as stated. They soak up water and the cork backing is great to protect your surfaces. However, I am very disappointed in the color of the coasters. I was expecting something very neutral in the tan/grey color family. What I received is an orange/terra cotta color. I hate to send them back when they are perfectly functional. But, aesthetically they are not what I wanted at all.

Already broken
Had them for a week and one of them already broke in half. Gave it 4 stars because they were exactly what I was looking for. They absorb condensation the way I was hoping.

Only wanted sandstone coasters...
Have had a set of sandstone coasters for about 20 years, and they're still a mainstay on our coffee and end tables. We've found the need to have more coasters and the only ones I wanted were sandstone...ones that matched the ones we already have. Very pleased with them!!
