Functional art that can last generations
The media could not be loaded. Clutch coffee maker for one or two servings. Pull two of the three available shots and enjoy an intense double espresso style drink that is potent and delicious. Make two shots, two drinks with milk. Benefits from some aeropress or E&B filtration voodoo. Thicker than cafeteria espresso pots, heats differently and the stock filters don't love espresso grind without some of that thar voodoo. I started with an old shelf worn IMUSA that was on the shelf so long it is one of the chilean ones. I recommend buying this model and if you picnic, hike, or camp, even bbq in the backyard get an IMUSA or PRIMULA three cup pot as well. If you can buy this special edition just do it. Or the standard model. Great coffee maker for a range of drinks, roasts, and grinds. Easy to modify for espresso grind. You can pull two really good shots with cheap Great Value espresso. That is my benchmark for a coffee maker. Only the aeropress is more versatile and for me, the moka pot is first in the morning. Aeropress is for when I'm awake already. In fact get a few in different sizes. They can last generations, there have been 300,000,000 moka express pots sold since 1933. For a reason. * note video is of my Chilean made IMUSA 3 cup cafetera espresso. The Oceana collector's edition Moka Express 3 cup is a little better to me in this recipe and I prefer a gas camp stove to a hotplate. Highly recommend the original or any version of the Moka Express. Own one, three, six cup models. Plan on collecting more. Also zero waste and no detergent. If caring for alyminium is a hassle check out the Venus series from Bialetti.

Works great
The coffee we make with this set is awesome

Coffee fail
This is an aluminum version. Gets too hot too fast and burned the coffee. Regrettably, I'm not into experimenting with stove settings given the price of the coffee I use. Stick to the stainless-steel version that handles the heat better.

Mystery residue??
I opened up the moka pot to find a mystery substance that looked like vaseline inside it. I would really like an explanation for this as well as a refund. Not a good suprise.
