The media could not be loaded.  I love that little AC. We often have power outages and this is perfect to keep us cool till power comes back. It moves left to right if you need, but we don't use that function often, as we mostly sit pretty much very close to it. The water mist is super fine and will not leave you soaking wet. The condensation drips back to the water container. My husband was first very skeptical but now carries it everywhere where he might need it. It runs very quiet and for many hours without needing a charge.

This is a good portable fan, but as said in the other interviews, this is not an Air Conditioner. For those hot days, this will cool you adequately as long as the fan is at arms length. With the water in the bottom tray, and the ice in the top tray, it will help the atmosphere to be bearable. Unlike an Air Conditioner that sucks the hot air out, this will just blow cool air (with a mist) on to you. The rechargeable battery last for a long time, so that is a plus. The open tray at the top allows for easy reapplication of ice after it has melted. I personally use this fan on my deck, on a desk (at arms length). I believe this would be ideal for long drives in which you have to stop for awhile and you don't want to leave your car running just to stay cool.

Cools down fast, really good…Very useful in super hot days

I thought it was great at first last night (first use - just received it from Amazon). Blowing a cool mist in my face from my dresser next to my bed. It might have helped me fall asleep in our very hot bedroom that does not have a window that opens.But, I woke up a couple hours later and it was blowing hot air because the ice and water dried up in the tiny reservoir. If it would shut itself down after the water is used up, that may a bit acceptable and keep me from returning it but I think I must because the main purpose for me is to cool myself down a little while trying to sleep. The unit was running on all low settings.I could try it in my office, buy a long USB chord and an AC adapter for it and plug it into a power strip but I would still have to keep replenishing the tiny storage box for the water.

If you are laying or sitting directly in front of it, you will probably get some relief from the hot weather, but it doesn’t get as cool\cold as advertised—-not by a long shot.Best rating I could give is——It is easy to charge and fill. It does not pack a COOL AIR PUNCH let alone COLD air. Even with ice cubes, it doesn’t get cool let alone cold. Might as well use a regular fan. I tried this unit for a could days to give it a chance. The outcome was the same. Poor cool/cold air output even when using ice cubes. Jokes on me because I fell for the advertisement. More like an in-your-face personal fan because this is NOT an air conditioner by any stretch of the word. Don’t WASTE your money.

I am not sure of all the uses for this device but my main purprose currently is when I work our of my home gym in my garage. My garage has no AC and right now it is summer. Even with the garaage door open it is very hot inside. I leave this little guy on and after I lift some weights or if I am doing jump rope, I go to this and cool my body down. Pretty handy little device!I actually can see the mist blowing out on the lower and mid settings. So far I would recommend it if you are in a spot where you need to cool down.I am planning to take this camping as well. just have not have a chance to go camping yet.

I wasn't sure whether this little air cooler would be worth the price, but I went ahead and ordered it, and am glad I did. Because of the hot past summers where I live and the climate situation elsewhere, I kept expecting the temperature to go over 80 degrees, and it finally did a few times. Since our place has no cross ventilation or air conditioning, it was quite warm and stuffy indoors, so I was very relieved to have this personal cooler misting me on those uncomfortable days! (This region is not generally humid, though.) It doesn't cool a whole room, but it definitely did cool me off... and the feeling of a cool breeze and slightly moistened skin has truly been pleasant and refreshing.I like that it's rechargeable and can also run while plugged in, though I didn't use it for more than a couple of hours at a time because I was afraid I might overfill it if I poured in much more water to start. It seems to need refilling more often than I had hoped, so I'm not sure about sleeping, but I figure it could be a very helpful item to have on trips. I tried setting a small ice pack on top once or twice, but it still felt cool when I didn't, which was important to me (we don't always have ice handy, and I didn't try cubes). It's definitely cooler than an ordinary fan when using only water, and it makes the area in front of it more than just tolerable.I will say that this unit seems to make a faint whining noise on the middle and high fan settings, which bothers me occasionally, but it's not greatly annoying. I think it's a really nice item overall and seems to be operating well so far. I also like that it's portable and lightweight, since my back is in bad shape. All in all, I'm quite happy to have it.
