Sorry for my delay; I was away. Knife is 10 1/2 inches total: 5 1/2 inch blade (with strong plastic protective case) and 5 inch handle. I still use it multiple times a day, especially for hard-to-slice-thin items such as tomatoes - far and away my favorite kitchen item!
