Small and Effecient
I purchased this hoping I could extract the bladder to put in my Maxpedition Colossus Versipack as it only allows for a 50 oz bladder. To my surprise it doesn't seem to be able to be removed from the insulated nylon case. It still seems to fit inside the bag alright so I will just use it as is. It is a great deal and comes with the big bite valve and valve cover, both of which are great products. The molle webbing on the back makes it easy to attach to other gear, and the D-rings on the sides are great for lashing it down. It only holds 50 oz of water but on small hikes that is all you really need. As with all of Camelbak's tactical line the quality is top notch. This should not be confused with the blue bladders that have the hose permanently attached. You can disconnect the line for cleaning or storage and it works with all of Camelbak's hydrolink accessories. Maxpedition Colossus Versipack

Worth the money to pay for the brand name!
I purchased this CamelBak for my firefighter husband to use on wildland fires this summer. His state-issued off-brand hydration pack broke before he even used it once, and he needed something reliable. So far this CamelBak has lived up to its reputation. This hydration pack is very nice quality and works reliably and perfectly every time. This is a nice size for use in a backpack--it holds an adequate amount of water without adding a lot of weight to the load. It is easy to drink from and the spout is the perfect length to reach the backpack shoulder strap without leaving a loop that someone could get tangled in. It is well worth the money to pay for the CamelBak brand name.

Perfect for backpack
I needed a hydration pack for my Vertx backpack. I chose this model because the size is perfect and because it's not just a naked bladder. It has a sturdy protective case that will shield the bladder from potential punctures from items stored with it inside the backpack. Excellent quality as you would expect from CamelBak.

Great product!!
I purchased this camelbak for a motorcycle trip I took out to yellowstone, It worked great, kept water cool and cold. I strapped it to the back of my backrest on my motorcycle and would grab a drink when i stopped for a picture or to grab a snack, worked excellent, the bladder DOES come out of the pack if need be for cleaning or whatever, but I have left mine in. it comes with 4 D-rings attached and molle straps on the back so you can attach it to pretty much anything and the quick disconnect bite valve with shut off is a great feature as well... all in all I rate this baby a total 5 star, and would buy another in a heartbeat :)
