Q: how much tint i need for a 5 gallon white paint bucket to make it tan

This will not even tint a gallon. I just tried to tint a single gallon and it hardly changed the color.

Q: I'm thinking of using the "ocean blue #99" for an unfinished wood floor. has anyone else done this? what was your process? do you have any pictures?

Hi, you can put Mixol #99 into any type of floor finish (oil, water, alcohol, polyurethane) but don't use more than 10% by volume. It is better to keep the volume down and build up the color with two or more coats.

Q: will this work with polycrylic?

Never used polycrylic before. But I've read that polycrylic is water based acrylic w/a little polyurethane. Mixol is definitely water based so it might be able to tint the polycrylic you are using. I'm no expert, so you may have to call the company in Germany or call up Woodcraft which sells the Mixol for further information. Could just buy a small quantity and try on some wood scrap or whatever you are painting.

Q: Will these mix with polyester resin?

Hello Rissa,I asked my Tech department and they said that Mixol tints are not recommended for polyester resins. Sorry about that.
