First timer stick-n-poke review
I wanted to try out stick n poke tattooing and not spend a lot of cash. I'm no tattoo artist, but I'm happy with the results so far using these needles. Before purchasing I glanced over a chart and read somewhere that 5RS (shaders) would be okay for small lines and shading. I saw these were pretty inexpensive so I jumped on it! I was able to make these work but would highly recommend getting a RL (liner) in the size you want for line work as well.My rookie mistake was not wiping as I poked, so my first tattoo on my foot is a little uneven. Now I wipe after poking a few times with damp paper towels so I can see where I'm putting the ink in the skin. My opinion overall is that stick n pokes are more time consuming but far less painful. It's a great way to touch up older tattoos as well versus dropping money at the shop for touch-up work.Photos attached are of a new small wrist tattoo on me and the repair work on my fiance's lighthouse tattoo.

these work super great. Never gave a "homemade" tattoo before
First, you get a TON of needles for the money.Second, these work super great.Never gave a "homemade" tattoo before, and this went really well. If you are capable at accurately tracing something, make sure you are sanitizing the skin and using good ink, it will be a smooth process. It also hurts significantly less than a normal tattoo and also doesn't scab or require too much attention after the fact.It also helps to not be squeamish, but it really isn't too bad.
