Montana Black Empty Marker, 10mm, Chisel (044260)

I took one star off because the marker didn't really come with instructions. And they were sorely missed.The pen has two marbles in the barrel to help you mix acrylic paint in the marker - it works in conjunction with a flow-regulator (or that's my description anyway). Unfortunately, I am using the pen for alcohol-based leather dye which is extremely runny. I didn't know how to fill the pen and whether I should use the marbles and the flow regulator.Well, short answer is YES. I should have. I didn't and dye ran everywhere. Once I replaced the regulator, the pen works perfectly. It makes edge-dyeing leather projects super easy. Just be careful and wear gloves until you are sure it is working correctly.

shame on me for buying something quickly without scrutiny but listing makes it seem like its for 2 markers. i was surprised when only one came then looked at the reviews to see many many others were similarly tricked. surely seller has seen this and chose to not adjust the listing. shame on them. id encourage others to not buy from them.

I purchased this to stain the edges of leather. Using it against leather does fray the tip a bit, but don't let that stop you. Used a funnel to fill it. The flow is the part I like the most. It is very controlled and does not leak everywhere. I will buy again when I decide to use a second dye color.

I haven’t actually used this yet. If by some great miracle it ends up being amazing I’ll update... But the picture clearly shows two markers. It’s only one. Not a huge deal, but that’s shady... Just be aware it’s only one.

I use these with leather dye on the edges. Works like a charm. Does not leak!
