Great for Events!
I bought this for my workplace as I work in events. We do A LOT of giveaways and enter-to-win contests with ballots that need to be filled out, but our pens always tend to walk away with the person. I decided to buy this in hopes people don't tend to steal golf pencils. They do the job, and nobody takes them! Can be reused until a sharpening is needed, and makes things a lot easier for us. Great price for the amount in a package. We will have these pencils for a while. Highly recommend.

Perfect to curb "I forgot my pencil" from students
A few years ago I went through 20 boxes of 1 dozen pencils in my classroom (I know this because I had bought them all myself and ran out with about 6 weeks of school left). I don't want kids to not do work because they have nothing to write with so I just sucked it up and kept buying pencils. Eventually I decided to buy a box of golf pencils simply because they were cheaper and I could buy more pencils with my own money. These work great, students are able to do their work but they almost always remember to return my pencils. I now leave a little cup of them out for students to use when they need them with no worries that I'll run out. The students don't really like using them so I find that they'll either remember to bring their own (or in some cases overcome their laziness and go look through their backpack for their own) or they'll work hard to borrow one from a friend before resorting to my golf pencils. I purposely do not buy the type with erasers because that is a huge component to them disliking these pencils.I have to say my plan worked and I won't go back. I went from giving away 240 pencils in one school year to the next year still having half of the box of golf pencils left! I can generally get 2 school years out of one box of 144 pencils. I call it a win kids have the supplies they need, and I have more money now to spend on other supplies for my classroom.

Freat for little hands
These are great for my special education students who love to eat erasers...

Love them, students don’t
I think these are great; I don’t have to waste a whole pencil on students who will usually not return them when finished. My students do not care for these due to the short stature and no eraser. Well, I’m short of stature, but full of knowledge to train them in skills, so don’t judge. It still fits their hands without the extended tail waving around that will end up in the parking lot or trash at the end of the day. Also, in high school, you don’t need an eraser in English. You need editing symbols. While I prefer pens, these work great and when they wander away and don’t come back, I still have plenty left and don’t feel sad about the cost. I just imagine that these little pencils end up assisting them in math.
