I don’t know how many times I have questioned whether a battery is dead or there is a problem with my alternator. No more.This easy to use tool will test your battery and charging system. I didn’t even need to read the instructions. I just moved around the menu’s and was able to figure it out.No batteries are needed for the unit, it gets it’s power from the battery you are testing.Tells you if your battery is good, your cranking ability of the battery and your alternator charging level.

Perfect for RV Marine Battery Check Up
Without fail one of my batteries does every season camping in my RV. I then have to lug both batteries to Walmart or somewhere to test. Now I can check on the health of my batteries from home at the beginning of each camping season and throughout. I'm a big fan!

Works great!
Works great! , looks great on the outside, but wish it had a color display instead of a green and black display. Because the display looks like a 1980’s Nintendo game boy. That’s my only complaint about it. A color display would’ve been awesome.

Quality product
With 12 volt batteries costing well over $100 to replace nowadays, you want to be certain your battery really needs replacement before you run down to the parts store. Well, this is a very sophisticated yet easy to operate battery tester that is more than capable of handling what can be a tricky job. Read the directions. Read them again. Make certain you understand everything. Then commence testing. Simple, thorough, and accurate.

Works great, Easy to use
I have never trusted these solid state testers. I learned to use a carbon pile battery tester when I was a kid and just always felt safer sticking to what I know but when (I was given the chance to try this out I jumped at it. I tested every battery on my property with both the carbon pile and this tester, I got the same results with this tool and I didn't have to recharge the battery when I was done. I don't know what kind of voodoo they use for an accurate load test through these tiny leads but I think I trust it.

Worked once.
Worked once right when I bought it. 12 months later it doesn't enter menu system making it unusable. But, I can still change languages!!! Amazonians are now saved from this poc as it is unavailable.

Well constructed
Well constructed and does everything that a good battery and charging system tester should do. It’s self-powered once connected to the battery you’re testing so no need for internal batteries. Reading the owner’s manual before using the unit will save you some time. All in all this is a tool that should be in every mechanics tool box.

Nice and solid
Arrived nicely packaged. This is a great working battery tester. I compared it with another tester I have and the results were the same. This battery tester is very easy to use, plug and play. It also tests the alternator which is a big plus. Nicely built clips, and nicely built all around tester. Great product!
