It's up to everyone whether to use follow on milk as they can stay on first milk up to 12 months when they go on to cows milk or you can use stage 3 at this point. The bottles all came with a best before date 5/2022. I got this to trial because our young man currently has tonsilitis, so we thought that this might be something easy and nutritious for him to drink, as he is struggling to eat any solids. In the package, there are four x one litre bottles of 6 to 12 month follow on milk. This pack of four is currently priced at £14, so each litre is working out at around £3.50. This is definitely the more expensive way to buy formula. Whilst a tub of powder costs more, it goes a long way further and is more cost effective. These bottles are useful for when you need some milk on the go. Just remember that it will need drinking within 48 hours of opening. It can be stored in a cupboard before the seal is broken so it’s easy to store away. It also has a long use by date when not opened. Comes in 1 litre bottles in a pack of 4. We use the powdered version too, but this is obviously far more convenient to use being able to store in a cupboard until opened, and then once opened within 48 hours if kept in the fridge. This makes night feeding a lot easier and quicker to manage, plus, there's no counting out the scoops etc. Good value overall and worth it to improve the parents sleep through the night. I am weaning my little one of breast milk and gave him this as his very first formula and after two days of trying I've given up. He is clearly not keen on formula which is fine, BUT I will say that I think this product is brilliant. I have always been a fan of ready made formula as it's easy and great especially for on the go. I even preferred these as opposed to the tiny bottles you get for one off feeds. These save waste and you can take whole bottle with you for weekend getaways, holiday or when you happen to be out the entire day. This will make it a lot easier and if you need less you can just leave the bottle in the fridge and prepare a smaller bottle for your little one. Gave this to a friend of mine to use for her baby and her little one loved it so there you have it. Not every baby might like it as just like us adults their taste buds are very different and if all formula were the same there wouldn't be so many brands out there, but I still think this is a great product and deserves 5 stars.
