color coded wires easily connected to aftermarket radio
Plugged right in to the two factory connectors, color coded wires easily connected to aftermarket radio. I did have to move the wires on the 16 pin connector for the speakers. The instructions that came with the kit said I may have to do this but it was a simple task. Got all 4 speakers working, radio works, factory amp still working. This is a great kit and looking at the manufacturers website on what they offer I have other vehicles that will be getting upgrades using their products.

Good seller, good shipping, it just didnt fit my town car. I have a special town car that had a wiring issue from factory...I had to use a scosche harness and hard wire the speakers into the other harness

Does not work with premium JBL sound system that has the antenna in the trunk. I can't really rate it since I never got to install it.

1997 Mark VIII w/JLB Application
Just an FYI that might help. This works fine in a 1997 Mark VIII LSC with the OEM JBL system. I used a JVC KD-X470BHS head unit and retained the factory amp (F5LF18C807-AA). I did have to re-pin 4 wires (purple/purple black and green/green black) on the black connector as mentioned/detailed in the instructions. I used the “high level” (black stripes) inputs for the ROEM-FRD2 since the JVC is 50 watts x 4 channels. Per instructions, the “low level” (red stripes) inputs are for radios up to 25 watts x 4 channels. Hope this helps.
