Why did I wait so long?
This is a dated album, but it IS 707 at the time, and it rocks solid! Why did I wait so long to grab this album?

707
This is a band from the late 70's, early 80's that had great music that (unfortunately) never got a break. This is an awesome mix of rock music, great lyrical content, mixed with interesting chordal arrangements. CD's from the band are hard to come by. The CD itself was delivered in a very timely fashion and in great condition. Definitely check out 707.

why hasn't the listing been corrected?
I have looked a couple times on Amazon on this one as it seemed to be unavailable anywhere else. The song listing is from a Shooting Stars album. The listing has "beyong" instead of "beyond"Seriously, really I love that Renaissance took the opportunity to put some 707 on CD as the conglomerates were too busy reissuing the rolling stones and pink floyd for the umpteenth time. It would seem the tradeoff is that they didn't put a lot of time or effort into it. Which is a shame because the first 707 album is a total classic that didn't get the attention it deserved. That being said the correct track listing is 1-9 the first 707 album.Tracks 10-12 Magic, Lifetime Lover, Isabel are from the 707 CD Magic RMED-272Tracks 13-15 Bring It On Back, Never Know, She Moves Me are from Duke McFadden's solo album "Home Again" RMED-271As I already had all of those CD's the purchase of this was totally unnecessary for me.Also on the CD "The Bridge" Kevin and Tod's pictures are marked incorrectly with the other one's name.A shame as this band deserves so much better.

707- early work has some bright spots
For some reason, there was a link to Shooting Star here (hey Amazon, thanks for finally fixing this as of 2012! SEE 707). As for 707, I vividly recall Megaforce which was a great album that featured Kevin Chalfont on vocals. This is their first work where guitar hero unknown, Kevin Russell, does most of the vocals. Some solid work here. From the first album, most everyone has heard "I Could Be Good For You" at one time or another. I like the bright spots on their second album such as "Pressure Rise", "Live Without Her", and "Tonite's Your Nite".This was released as a two on one CD back in 1998 by Renaissance so that is the CD to find if you can get it. 707 is another of the lists of bands that had a shot but just couldn't get their due. Kevin Russell is a very sought after session guitarist and he can rock.
