If found that this works like gamsol. The colors move and will blend so it does work however if you have Gamsol at home that’s all you really need.

Fantastic blending solution
Holbein Meltz solution is capable of blending out coloured pencils but is also capable of blending out water-soluble media, as well. I put the Meltz solution into an empty Copic Sketch marker and use it as a blender for coloured pencils as well as water-colour pencils and even Neocolor II crayons. The Sketch body is refillable and the Copic nibs are replaceable if they get too worn. It's the perfect environmentally-friendly solution - no plastic pens to throw out when they're empty or when the nib is worn.Love Holbein Meltz solution!

bueno pero se debe aprender a usar y aplicar con el instrumento correcto.
mezcla muy bien, pero hay que aplicar muy poca cantidad ya que puede disolver más de la cuenta el color, no de debe usar con aplicador ya que arrastra pigmentos y le quita un poquito el color.

Fantastic blending of color
This is fantastic. Would recommend this to anyone. This is much better than a blender marker because you can constantly use new qtips, cotton, sponge etc for every color rather than using a blender marker which you have to clean before switching colors. Will be buying again

An alternative to using gamsol for blending. I find it blends colored pencil with less soaking of the paper.

Smooths Out Colored Pencil Drawings
I had given this a bad review, before trying it out more on my Prismacolor drawing.It smooths out the pencil work, giving the drawing a very smooth appearance, almost as if it was painted.I love this and would purchase the Meltz again!
