Excellent cooling on Predator trition 300, temp went down frm 92 to 75 °C
The media could not be loaded. Jst check your lap have mining virus ...It can elevate the temp .Paste is excellent nd value for money ..thn kryonot thermal greesly ..Fan is super quite ..Extreme stress test with intel xtu benchmarking..max temp 80.. Gaming and other 75 ..nd flucuating. Nvr stuck on 80.Go for it..Idel temp is 36 cI have also undervolted to -130Update -After 1 month..Now my lap is much stable and the chasis nvr get hot.Which was there before applying artic mx5 .Over all i am very happy ...Playing witcher 3 at high.. Graphic.Cpu peak to 78°c @4000mhz.( happen during riding on horse when so much rendering take place at background)But as stop . the temp come down to 56 in matter of seconds..I will be uploading video too for proff .Thankyou*You can reapply for more than 6 or 7 tym with one tube ..Value for money.

Excellent paste, better than MX4 but careful
I have used Arctic Silver, 5 Arctic Silver Ceramique since the early 2000s followed by Noctua's NT-H1 and Arctic MX4. Arctic's products by themselves are without reproach (as are Noctua or even A-S) when it comes to cooling performance and the new MX5 paste is no exception. This one is very good. But read on.Unfortunately in late 2021, batches of MX5 were found defective and recalled from the market. Search on Google for info. I used a bit of it on my new CPU and that's when I knew it was defective. The silicone oil came out first in a gob followed by the paste. A clear sign of separation. Cleaned the CPU with IPA and again squeezed out a pea sized gob on the IHS. This time no oil but the paste was really thick unlike non-defective stock where it is rather thin and spreads easily. I proceeded to use this gob of this defective paste and mounted the cooler on the CPU. To my surprise it runs well, really well! No complaints per se but a defective product is a defective product and must be returned and I did just that. So guys be aware of this issue but full marks to paste performance 1 star reduced for the defective batch. I can only imagine how a properly manufactured batch of MX5 will perform. So, highly recommended only IF you get a non-defective batch.

So Damn Good.
This thermal paste is very good. i have used CoolerMaster mastergel, noctua NT-H1, but this is the best paste i can say by my personal experience.I own a ACER NITRO 5 with a GTX1060 6gb. Its fans and Gpu and Cpu are at opposite ends so its cooling is not efficient, but after this paste it is going to max of 85°C on playing GTA V. You can surely go for this paste. It comes with 4g of quantity so you can apply it 8times for both CPU and GPU.

MX5 thermal paste
I had earlier been using Arctic MX4 thermal paste; it was good. Then I saw the offer for MX5 thermal paste, and bought it. I recently replaced my CPU cooler after cleaning the dust, and this time I used MX5. Though, they claim that it is less viscous than MX4, it is more sticky. The colour is blue instead of the grey colour of the MX4. I used the spatula to spread a thin layer of thermal paste on the base of the cooler. Then put three tiny blobs on the CPU heat spreader (as recommended for Ryzen 9 CPUs). While fixing the cooler you could feel the extra stickiness of the MX5; one will have to be careful when removing the cooler the next time; you will have to rotate it a few times to make sure that the CPU is not pulled out with the cooler. After fixing the cooler, I ran Cinebench R23. I found a difference of 2 degree in the max temperature.I will recommend this over MX4. Only keep in mind the extra stickiness of the MX5; you will have to be careful while removing the cooler, especially for AMD CPUs. There should not be any such issues with Intel CPUs with their better locking mechanism.

Really Bad quality
I ordered it a month ago and didn't open it until today and I found out it's all solidify and really hard to squeeze out. All the money goes to waste.

15C lower temps while on load and 10C lower while idling
I really loved my experience with the MX-5. I repasted a couple of old systems and my new laptop with amazing results! My old i3 6100 which was roaming at 80C never crossed 60C ( although I cleaned alot of dust too) under full load. Dell G5 5505 also seeing very good improvement in temperatures and even holding well after 1.5 months.Although this is paste is a bit tedious to handle as it is quite viscous. Better use a spatula to spread and you wont get one with the 4g pack I bought.

Not recommended
Kyronaut's thermal paste is the better alternative. MX-5 is more sturdy hence hard to spread and I'm not seeing any major temp drops than Company applied out of the box stock paste on my MSI Laptop.

Good thermal paste but 4mg tube is just too much and is a costly affair
I have used it for my Dell XPS 2017 which was touching 87 degrees C upon CPU stress. So, I have decided to replace the thermal paste along with Undervolting. Unfortunately, undervolting is now no more available due to security limitations imposed by Intel. Now coming to the Artic Mx5,1. It's sticky and is not that easy to spread.2. 4 MG is too much for home use, sadly 2 MG isn't available, so it's waste of money. Don't know if this can be reused post opening.3. There is a 6 degrees C reduction in temperature during near idle loads and about 13 degrees C with 100% CPU stress loading. This is a good reduction with temperature now just touching upto 74 degrees C.4. There is also a slight increase in the CPU Turbo boost frequency, but still doesn't touch the design value of 3.8 GHz. This could be due to the limitations in the chassis design and cooling system for this machine.Overall, a costly and good product. Quantity is just too much for single or couple of PCs. Unsure of how long this will perform like this. Company though mentions it as 8 years.Surely a good solution for machines that are typically over 3-5 years old. Needs to be done carefully at own risk.

Excelente produto!

Best thermal paste
This paste is an improved version of my previous favorite thermal paste, which was Arctic MX-4. The MX-5 paste cools my cpu a few degrees better, while being easier to spread and having better consistency. This might not sound like much, but the MX-4 was already one of the best pastes on the market. The only other option for paste that cools this well is Kryonaut, but that paste loses efficiency and becomes dry at temperatures of 80°C which is normal operating temperatures for a lot of graphics cards and even CPUs with many cores. MX5 is stable even at the most extreme temps of over 100°C.Liquid metal is an alternative that will provide better cooling than this paste, but comes with many drawbacks. It can cause corrosion, it is hard to apply, it can short out your other parts due to its conductive nature, and it will need to be re-applied much more often do to not having as long of a lifespan. If you just want an easy to use and top of the line thermal paste, I would go with this. It is the easiest paste I’ve ever used, and it performs better than any other paste I have used. If you are are looking to get the absolute lowest temperatures possible and don’t mind risk then research into liquid metal. In my opinion, no other paste is worth using after testing a good batch of this MX-5 however, and liquid metal is not worth the 3-5 degrees in performance you might gain from a good application.

Very sticky and hard to spread
After reading reviews of it pulling out CPU’s from locked sockets and being very hard to separate from cooler plates, I decided to order MX-4 just in case. I cut some stainless steel plates to replicate the CPU/cooler surfaces and attached them using the MX-5 paste... very sticky and hard to de-attach the two plates. Also very hard to spread. Use at your own discretion, but I highly recommend MX-4 over this as it’s proven to work and spreads much easier.
