Heater bypass.
If they had stated this was a perfect fit for Mopar 383 and 440, they would sell a ton more. It’s absolutely perfect. It fit like a charm. For all I know I will work on the 318-360 Mopar’s too. Those water pump housing ports should all be the same. They don’t have two different size ports like Chevy.Good job on this. I strongly suggest buying this for your heater bypass. So easy to install and fit perfect.

Bypass Heater Core on 2002 Lexus GS430
Many years ago my mechanic bypassed my heater core and recently I had to replace both heater hoses because one of them ruptured. I didn't like the way he bypassed the heater core so I ended up buying this molded heater hose and used brass connectors with stainless steel hose clamps. So far after about a month I've had no leaks and it seems to be working great. All in all I spent about $30 in parts and if I would have had it done at the dealership It would have ran me about $300 plus. The hardest thing was to get the 20 + year old heater core hoses disconnected from the engine block. That took a little bit of time and a lot of finessing. I'm very happy with the repair and I'm about 5,000 thousand miles away from hitting 100k.

Well made.
Worked perfect on my 12v Cummins to block off the heater lines to my heater core while I flushed out the heater core.

Heater bypass 94 Dodge Dakota V6 3.9L
Used this to loop my heater hoses together , some folks say you might want to install a flow valve but in my case the truck didn't come with a heater valve and I figure Dodge had it setup that way for a reason. So bought this along with two 5/8 hose connectors and some SAE 12 Clamps. Installed it and the truck is no longer losing coolant mysteriously.

Needed one and this one was semi cheap
Needed a u bend hose for me ls swap. Not using heat so I needed a u bend. Its semi cheap and people were sayin they used it eith no issues. TECHNICALLY I haven't had any issues with the hose but its the same size on both ends. The heater core inlet/outlet on the water pump are 2 different sizes. The larger of the 2 was a little more than a pain to get on. Ended up hitting the one end with some brake clean to soften it ut for a minute and it went on. Theres better hoses EXACTLY for this application with correct sizes on each end. Not as cheap but I think if I do it again ill save thr time and hassle and just fork out the extra cash

Good solution if you don't need the heater, but you need to control the flow
good material.i have used this hose to bypass the my heater as it went rouge .one thing to consider when using bypass hose is to use any kind of flow control to reduce the flow to minimum, otherwise full hot water will go back to engine bypassing the thermostat and engine has to rev more to compensate that.i used inline flow control (DIY) to reduce flow o 5%. it works fine and engine is not affected.
