Lovely warm, relaxing scent
I really love frankincense oil. The smell is so warm and relaxing. I mix it with face lotion and massage it into my skin. It’s supposed to do a whole bunch of skin friendly things. I think it’s also supposed to be a bit of an astringent so it’s supposed to tighten skin. I might’ve noticed a slight tightening effect. Anyway, I really like it and I will definitely buy more when it runs out but you don’t need to use much at all so I think a bottle will last me a long time.

Glad I took the chance!
ETA: I am disheartened to see what appears to be a smear campaign going on here. Those are enough of a nuisance in politics, we don't need that on holistic products pages. Please be aware that marking 4 and 5 star reviews as "unhelpful" because you have an issue with the company or product is not only childish and unproductive, but reflect poorly on the company(s) and products you ARE endorsing. Are you aware that you are reflecting poorly on at least one company that has worked hard at being successful by being boisterously negative about this product and then just as boisterously promoting other(s)?Saying my review and numerous others' who gave positive reviews were unhelpful because you have a bone to pick has made me wonder about the ethics of the companies you are affiliated with. Much more professional to write your own review and direct people to the analysis data you infer is available and let the data speak for itself.I think perhaps you need to sit down with some balancing oil, work on the 4th chakra, or maybe meditate on karma.Add to original review: this oil is not going to be used by me for therapeutic purposes, nor will it be used on or around anyone but myself. As such, a lesser priced and readily available frankincense AROMA that serves the purpose I need it for earned 5 stars.Normally, Frankincense is one of the essential oils that I stick with my known brands ONLY, as there is so much room for adulteration and therefore inconsistency in quality from brand to brand. The company I normally order my frankincense (and patchouli, FWIW) from is more of a middleman or distributor business... in other words, they do not do anything proprietary to the oil (not even the labels or bottles), they simply find and order good quality oils, buy them in bulk, and resell to internet and mail-order consumers. In so doing, they only have oils in stock if they have been able to find a quality supply for purchase in bulk. And by quality, I mean that they are very knowledgeable and therefore critical of what they are willing to offer. Many times I have read that they were unable to find good quality (usually not hard to find) oils, and had no prediction of when a new supply would be available.Having said all that, I was hesitant to buy frankincense from a company I had never heard of, for a price that seemed to indicate lower quality. I am very glad I took the chance! Will this replace my non-mass-marketed oil? Not forever, no. But I am not going to rush out and buy that other stuff when the supply is found, unless this bottle is gone or nearly so. It may NOT be as high quality as that company would accept, but my nose and experience is not as extensive as theirs and this stuff: A) smells like frankincense (i.e. the aroma part of aroma therapy is there)andB) looks and feels like frankincense.A rose by any other name...?Perhaps with further use I will notice a distinct difference in quality, but I doubt it, it seems legit. Did I mention half the price?

I found the scent I was looking for at Amazon
I first found this scent at Whole Foods. During Christmas They were selling a Frankencense scented wooden ball tied with a ribbon for a ornament. I wanted the exact oil that was used on the ball to be able to refresh the scent. It had a tag on it showing that it was made by Indigo Wild.com I ordered the Indigo Wild oil and perfume. I also ordered an organic healing version of Frankencense thru Amazon from Healing Solutions just for health reasons. It's great for scenting wooden objects like wooden boxes etc. It can be strong so I use the perfume lightly.(The best time I like to use a strong perfume is in the summer time when Im out and about but not in a cubicle where someone who is allergic can have a problem with scents. But it can be so refreshing on a hot summer day. I like Ciara cologne in the summer.) I am still working with Frankincense & may put some on cotton balls and put in a jar for the restroom or buy some of the wooden balls at the craft store and dress them with the scent. The next time I was at Whole Foods, I showed the Frankencense scented ball to a girl there that was demonstrating a balm product. Her eyes popped when she smelled the scented ball and she also fell in love with the scent. She mentioned that you could use an unscented type of balm and mix them together also. In some reviews, people have said it smells like a cleaning product or some such comment. I find if you take too deep of a breath when smelling it, it can seem that way, yet it is so pleasant if you dont go trying to deep breathe it.

Frankincense oil
I love this product! I put it on my face every day after a shower. I believe that it helps with imperfections like wrinkles and blemishes. I can’t prove it, but I believe it. I did have one issue. About three bottles and one of the bottles was empty. The lid was not on tight and all the oil had spilled inside the box that it was shipped in.

This stuff is amazing!
I bought this frankincense for my husband after he had a lawn mower accident and degloved his toe. Before we started using it, the wound wouldn't heal, and he was referred to a plastic surgeon for a skin graft. Unfortunately, we were getting the runaround from his insurance company, which would have to approve the surgery. After a week and a half of using frankincense and another oil, helichryseum, he went back to his wound care specialist who informed him that the wound had healed so well the graft was no longer needed! That was last week. This week, what was once a gaping hole down to the bone (before frankincense) is now a small sore we can put a regular Band-Aid on. Unfortunately, we did use the entire bottle, so now I'm ordering more to help with the purplish discoloration from the scar tissue. I plan to use frankincense more in the future. We do dilute it with coconut oil. Frankincense has a unique smell, almost like licorice, but it's pleasant. This brand is a fraction of the price of the MLM brands (which are around $95 for the same size bottle!) but, in my opinion, just as good. And always get your medical advice from a doctor, not the Internet. None of my husbands' various doctors had any problem with him using any of the oils we used after his injury, but it's always best to check first.
