Works well with ROOTer on Raspberry Pi 3b+!
It's non-trivial to get this working on vanilla OpenWRT, but the ROOTer build for the Raspberry Pi 3b+ works with this modem flawlessly OOTB. Flash ROOTer, insert sim, set APN, and away you go... Tested on both AT&T and T-Mobile in the US so far, hoping to use it on Telenor in Sweden as well...

Unreliable; Good Customer Service
I've been using this device for several months now on a daily basis with a Verizon SIM card. When it works, it's quite good, and the internet speeds seem to be about the same as what I get on my phone. The problem is that it frequently does not work, with my Network & Internet Settings saying "Insert Sim" (so the device is apparently not recognizing the SIM card). This malfunction occurs only sometimes when I try starting up the device; I've never had it connect and then drop the connection during a given work session. When it's working, the blue light flashes rapidly. When it fails to recognize the SIM card, the light flashes only intermittently.I tried to correct the problem a few months ago by updating the firmware as instructed by the company, and it appeared to help at first, but quite soon thereafter it continued to demonstrate the same problem. Perhaps it's Verizon throttling this device, but I suspect not because it does work most of the time and the malfunction occurs at random times.I suppose I could possibly remedy the problem by leaving the device on indefinitely once connected rather than powering off at the end of the day, and I may well do that, but that's obviously not an ideal solution.I have communicated with the company about this issue and also initial questions I had when looking into buying this or a different device. They have always been very responsive and tried their best to help via email communications. I do thank them for that. The device is also quite lacking in its physical features. It's basically just an exposed circuit board with some wires. Even for a bit more money, I would like to see the device enclosed in a protective shell. Then there is the status light... When the device is functioning, the blue light flashes rapidly and is very bright. I found it to be unbearable to have anywhere in my line of sight. I've managed to deal with it by positioning it behind my monitors.

Excellent product, easy to use
Excellent product, easy to use. They should include the other FPC antennas or a SMA Female Pigtail. It would be useful to include a case to be able to transport it without the fear of damaging the hardware. I currently have it running with OpenWRT, and it works fine.

Constantly Turns ON and OFF
I really wish I had the opportunity to use this device. Windows 11, x690 motherboard USB 3.0 port. I shouldn't need any other power supply, as I have not read in any literature that the TTL 5V port is REQUIRED. Something tells me this thing is trying to draw too much power (past what they rate it) and it is power cycling.I'll update this review if I can get any functional help that makes a difference.
