Butterfly 3000

Do I like Sparks? I love them. Do I like Kraftwerk? I like them. Do I like Spring Fizzard and the Mizzard Plizzard? I love them! For me this album, Butterfly 3000 is very much the antithesis of my all time fave by the band, the dark prog rock masterpiece that is Polygondwanaland.....the singing is soft Sparks choral meets electronic robot Kraftwerk and and the electronic synth infusions sprinkled with excellent phrases and pronounciations throughout delight the ear palate....love the way the singer says 25 dolluz for example...but that's just one of many excellent wordings....This album has the high end beauty of Polygondwanaland's phrasing and originality....but the style is yet another incarnation of the band....they rarely mess up their new adventures and this one being more hifi than lofi ticks the amazing electronic folk box beautifully.I love it. Well done boys!!I am still very much absorbing this exceptional album....which is currently tied with Steven Wilsons The Future Bites as my current fave of 2021

Love King Gizzard but maybe they need to only release one good album a year instead of 4 or 5 mediocre ones.

To me not one of their best ,but well worth a listen
