Capezio Women's Low-Rise Boyshort

My concerns before buying: that the material would be too thin, the waistband would show through my clothes, and the shorts would ride up.My body type: 5'4", 145 lbs, lots of booty (38" hips), petite proportions, and I ordered a large.Why I ordered it: to wear under dresses because I'm a ballroom dance instructor.Thoughts: Perfection. I ordered my VS underwear size. I can barely tell they're on because of the comfortable waistband, they don't form a line underneath my clothes, they breathe, and I can't see panty lines through them. Just enough inseam to help with chub rub. Love, will buy more in more colors.

These are ok, but I'm sending them back because I much prefer the nice thin/soft fabric of the Hanro ones I ordered. These fit well and I like the low rise, and they're easy to move in. But the fabric is quite thick/heavy and you can kinda eel the inside seams, so they're not quite as comfortable as other dance/boy shorts I've tried. However, they are the most SUBSTANTIAL dance/boy short I've tried... the fabric is so substantial and shiny/spandexy that these could almost be worn AS a costume bottom, in addition to being worn UNDER a costume. So I think this might be the ideal choice if you're wearing a short skirt that is going to be flying up a lot (as in cheerleading), because these have serious coverage. The Hanro ones I prefer are more like boy short underwear, but that's ok by me because I'm a gypsy skirt dancer, so I just wear boy shorts for some added security, very unlikely they'd ever actually be seen on stage. I like that I can also lounge around in my Hanro's... these Capezio's really can't double as lounge/sleep wear, the fabric is more like a bathing suit type of fabric. They look like they would hold up really well.

I purchased a small in the nude shorts and it is a bit big. I wear XS or S in panties, so I ordered a Small thinking it was very fitted since it looks like it's for dancers, but I found this a little loose (maybe I should do more booty exercises). I'm keeping it since it's not going to fall off and I only purchased it to wear under white/light colored dressed. For reference, I don't have much of a booty and wear size 25 in jeans with 36" hips. Also, these are quite short, so the bottom of my cheeks almost peek out. I hope this helps! :)

Great fitness short. Thick material. Low rise that’s hard to find now a days everything is high rise. 5 foot two 139 lbs 36 inch hips and medium fits when I bulk, when I hit 130 small fits better. Picture shows medium.

My daughter is nine with a muscular bottom and thighs. The child size dance shorts are a bit big through the hip and waist, but too tight in the bottom and legs, and too long in the legs -- they ride up and bunch and she was always messing with them during dance. On a whim, I tried these adult XS shorts and they're PERFECT. Shorter in the leg, (one inch inseam versus 2), more narrow through the hip, but more generous in the butt and leg. Perfect fit. She's 54" tall and 65lbs.

My daughter loves these shorts. She wears them for cheer. They don't ride up her thighs like similar brands. She doesn't have to readjust after kicks and flips. ;) In other words, no butt picking. LOL I gave it only 4 stars because the inseam thread has begun to unravel creating a hole. She has only worn the shorts 3 times and hand washed/flat dried once. The thread is not broken so it's clearly a flaw in the stitching. Flaws happen; just bummed we got the pair with the one. We'll order again, but will check the seams to ensure durable wear-ability. Thankfully I can repair this one.

Love them! It depends on what type of fit you want. If you're like me and are in between sizes (M & L), choose the higher for a more relaxed fit and smaller for a slightly tighter fit. Fyi, I'm 5'4, 169, between a 9 and 11 jeans, or 8 and 10 dress pants, depending on the brand. This has plenty of stretch so even going down it won't be too tight.

Very nice quality shorts great for dance and under dresses. I'm 5'2 a little under 100lbs pretty skinny Got small black for a black dance dress I have so I can spin without worry and got small nude for some dresses with slits that I also had concerns about but didn't want shorts to be as noticeable. trying to match my skin tone as much as possible ...both worked out great! Maybe just a tad tighter than I'd like but not too bad and I'm sure they'll stretch with time (I'm also the kind of person that likes my clothing a bit looser or a bit of breathing room) however wasn't sure if a medium would be too big and slide 🤷🏻‍♀️ other than that though perfect ☺️👍🏻

These are great shorts for modesty under a flowy skirt to prevent the “Marilyn” from happening to you. Not so great when you are wearing a tight dress because the seam at the front does show through your clothes. They are thicker then boy short underwear. I bought the nude colour and it is a not see through. I bought a large because the reviews made them sound on the smaller side. I should have stayed with my true size of medium.

Son lindos y cómodos, buenos para danza, pero creo que tienen el problema de que no ajustan del todo bien, y se van agrandando con las lavadas, lo que hace que después de un tiempo corto el short se mueva demasiado y revele mas de lo deseado. Tengan cuidado con la primera lavada ya que despintan
