I bought this litter picker for my little boy three years ago, and it’s honestly one of the best small purchases I’ve ever made. It’s been very well used and still works well. The size is absolutely spot on for little hands, making it easy for him to grab things confidently without getting frustrated. Beyond the quality, it’s been such a brilliant tool for his development. It’s helped his motor skills, coordination, and confidence, and it keeps him happily occupied on long walks. Even better, it’s become a lovely way to teach him about caring for Mother Nature. We go on regular litter-picking walks, and so many people have stopped us to say thank you to him — it’s been a real heart‑warming experience. The video I took today shows it still working just as well as the day we bought it. Highly recommend for any little eco‑warrior in the making.

Just what I needed after surgery, Gripper seems to be well made and hoping it will last longer than one I bought previously from another company. East to use and feels like it’s a sturdy build quality. A tad more expensive than I thought but if they last, they’ll be worth the extra.

I love it! Arthritis and grip problems means I drop lots of things and can't bend down to pick them up. This grabber is so well made, with no sharp edges, it feels solid but is light and it also folds up easily. Because both " jaws" of the grabber move, you can pick up quite tiny things. I love it so much I've been around the house dropping things on purpose to pick them up!😂. One tiny cat biscuit for example and a small pencil. I've not got a lot to smile about because of severe mobility issues but this new tool ( toy?) is just brilliant, and it's a great price too. I wish I'd bought one before. 100%...don't hesitate.

I broke my back on 12th July after a heavy fall, had emergency spinal fixation and was left unable to bend and dealing with severe pain. This has been hugely challenging, physically and emotionally. This grabber was the best £8.99 I spent in my life. It's very lightweight, but feels sturdy and robust. It's very easy and comfortable to use, and can reliably pick up things as small as a cotton bud or a button, but is also strong enough to lift a sneaker, or a full handbag. The prongs are the perfect size and the rubber ends grip securely. Slightly risky, but I've even had enough confidence in it to remove full size dinner plates and mugs from the dishwasher!! Putting shoes and socks on is difficult, and I've used it to put on and pull up my socks!! It confers dexterity as well as strength - I can position the prongs of a plug in the socket and nudge the plug into place with my foot. I take it with me wherever I go, at the moment. You don't realise how often in a day you drop things until you are no longer able to pick them up. This item has made a huge difference to my morale and recovery, saving me from frustration and helping to restore independence. Delighted to support a small business in the UK as well. I've had this for some time now and frustration has made me bin it now because it just doesn't live up to the hype. The actual prongs that pick pick up do not meet flat on, only the very tips of them meet. So it's ideal for picking up large things like paper cups, bunches of fabric or rope even. But try to pick up a letter that's dropped to the floor or a puppy pad and it's useless. I have ended up having to bend to pick them objects up which is not easy for me as I am disabled and the whole point of getting this product was to make life easier, it doesn't. So I am going to try another brand to see if that picks up single sheets of paper and puppy pads more easily. If the prongs met flat on so all the pads met it would be brilliant. You can't bend them to make them fit because I tried. Infact I tried again today and one of the prongs have broken so that prompted me to write this review and find an alternative product. Other than not being suitable for picking up flat things like paper or puppy pads it's very well made. A good length to reach and comfortable to hold as it's nice and light yet robust. What a pity the actual 'grabber' part isn't as good as one would expect.

This was a game changer when I couldn't bend down due to back pain. It made life so much easier. Now husband uses it to get things out from the bottom of the recycling wheelie bin. Very handy and has a little magnet attached to pick up tiny metal objects like screws etc.
