Works well with my cricut maker
This cutting mat works well with my cricut maker. I tested this mat along side the cricut mat that came with my maker machine. They functioned exactly the same. They both loaded without issue. The adhesion felt identical. The piece of paper stayed in place while the machine was cutting. They both peel away from the paper easily and without curling the paper (flip the mat upside down and peel the mat away from the paper vs. peeling the paper off of the mat). Finally, the scraper tool took off the tiny cut bits without problem. In the photos you'll see that I cut the flower first on the cricut branded mat, and then I cut out the airplane on this Kasyu branded mat. The cut images and base paper are flat and uncurled and the images are cut cleanly.

No happy medium here
When I first tried the light grip mat, I noticed that it seemed way too sticky - well, I was right. My cardstock wouldn’t release and it wound up tearing the backing right off. After scraping that away, I figured the mat just needed to be broken in a little. I got a few good cuts and it was fine as long as you wouldn’t see the back side of the cut material in your final product, as the bumpy texture of the mat transferred to the surface of my material. Now just a couple of weeks and less than 5 cuts later, the mat isn’t sticky at all. I had to use painter’s tape to hold my project in place for a simple draw function. By comparison, my Cricut brand light grip mat lasted the whole 5 years that I had my last machine. Since Cricut cheaped out and isn’t including mats with the purchase of a new machine any longer, I wanted to save some money after spending several hundred dollars on the new Maker 3, but it wasn’t worth it. Save yourself the hassle and the wasted materials and just buy the Cricut ones.

Not bad for the price!
I love crafting. I got a cricut maker a couple years ago as a gift from my hubby. I dont use it as often as I should and thought I should get some newer mats for it as the ones I have are old and dont stick very well. I have only used these mats a couple times with cutting adhesive vinyl and it worked as expected. As with all new mats I get I like to stick a tshirt to it a couple times so its not too tacky. It still has a good amount of tack and held my project in place and cut flawlessly. I like that you get a good variety with the 3 different grips. I am able to cut a bunch of different materials with these mats. So far so good!

Great, but... UPDATED REVIEW
These mats are wonderful. Adhesion is perfect and their value is awesome. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the inch numbers are inside the grid instead of outside. Doesn't affect their performance, but it takes some getting used to when using a mat to cut multiple colors.EDITED TO CHANGE RATING: After a few months of using these mats, they have become useless. They aren't sticky enough to hold the paper. I almost ruined my cutting machine because the paper came loose and jammed. Won't buy these again.

Great mats
I have ordered several different mats for my cricut and by far this one is a winner. I have only used the light grip mats for paper crafting . The paper cuts nicely and comes off without tearing my delicate pieces of course I flip over the mat and slowly take the pieces off. Tried of the high price of mats give this one a try I don't think you'll be disappointed.UPDATE: I still like these mats BUT they don't clean up well they lost all most all of thier stick. I could not use them after I cleaned them. They lasted about month and and half using them every day to cut 2-3 paper crafts a day. I still feel they're worth a try.

Not Much Usage **Edit Original Review
**Update: The seller contacted me and explained that there was an accidental issue with staffing using the wrong glue and assured me that their product would be better. I would be ok trying again.Five mats for the price sounds like a great deal however, I got just a couple uses out of the mats before they would no longer stick very well. I won’t buy these again.

Don't Waste Your Money
If I could give this 0 stars I would. First cut on new mat, using a new blade, and the correct settings on my Maker 3 and it tore the paper and cut down into the mat. These are flimsy and and don't have much stick. I tried 3 different card stocks - light, medium, heavy - and got the same result all three times.

Leaves a sticky residue on my products :(
I wanted to try a new cutting mat for my small business, but sadly these mats didn't work out. I spent so much more time using rubbing alcohol to remove the sticky dot residue left from the cutting mats on my products. I sell vinyl window clings and I can't have sticky residue shipping out to my customers. Also the mats didn't line up with my Shilouette Machine, they were pulled too high to the top and to the right (cutting of parts of my designs.) Maybe these mats work better with a Cricut Machine. I wouldn't recommend these for a small business using a Shilouette Cameo 4 as the main cutting machine.
