Forney56000 Electrode Holder, 200-Amp,Red and Black

Great replacement for a 100 amp welder. Small as and compact great to handle , not to bulky like a 300 amp holder

The Forney 56000 200 amp Electrode Holder otherwise known as a "Stinger", was an excellent replacement for the cheap stinger that came on the little 110 volt stick welder I just bought. It is much heavier and grips the welding rods much better. When your rod is used up, just squeeze the handle to release it. I am very pleased with it and it was priced right. Whether you're replacing one that's broken or worn out, or upgrading to something better, this stinger will suit your needs without breaking your piggy bank. If you need one that's rated higher than 200 amps, Forney makes a 300 amp stinger very much like the 200 amp but a little more heavy duty and priced a little higher. Yes, it's made in China. Isn't everything?

No issues. Very pleased.

This is a very heavy duty holder and makes a huge difference in the welds compared to the cheapo holder that came with my Harbor Freight arc welder. This plus the upgraded grounding clamp reduces rod sticking and increases penetration resulting in a stronger, cleaner weld. Definitely should have bought this awhile ago.

This forney lectrode is working for me as I was thinking it does so is really good product I fully recommend
