Didn't work sent back still waiting for refund .ten days now still no refund

I purchased a TC-895 and similar to the experince recorded in the feedback it performs in a way that leaves me without words . It is soo slow and I purchased this as an upgrade to my previous home built computer. What a mistake , I need to do something with it including dumping it as it is to late to return. I would never buy an Acer product again.

Nobody shouldn't be selling desktop PCs with these SMR-type drives. SMR drives have data tracks overlaid and to write one part they have to read the under-layer and the over-layer, then make the change and write it all back, not just the the bit that changed. This means that the disk get maxed out easily. I watched as a small application installation, which would normally take a minute or two, took 20 minutes because the disk maxing out at 100k-200Kbytes/sec instead of 60 Mb/sec. Regular "freezes" during normal use are seen as well. Look for CMR-type or SSD drives instead

Mouse movement was jerky so we're the simple games I tried started to use it on 26th December it totally failed to start windows on the 29th December tried all options on the blue screen nothing worked Not even factory reset it has been returned would not recommend it to anyone
