2007 Durango installation
I should have put these on years ago. More stable ride when towing, easy install, reasonable price, no extra lift when not needed. Raised vehicle until rear shocks were extended, supported frame with jack stands, removed bottom rear shock bolts and loosened top shock bolt to swing out of the way, cut off about 8" of air line for tee to valve, cut remaining line in half, put air lines, clamps, and top isolator spacers on bags prior to installation. I read a review with this tip and I think it would be difficult to get the lines and clamps on the bags after install because of limited room to work with. Collapse and shape the bag like a hot dog bun (as seen on you tube install video) and put black bag caps on line ends to keep them collapsed until installed. Be sure isolator spacers go into upper spring mount holes properly, bolt and tighten shocks back into place, remove jack stands, let jack down a little at a time making sure isolators stay in place until seated. Route air lines and install heat shields depending on application.

Fantastic Customer Service
I received the Air Lift 1000 kit but, there was a bag of parts missing from the box. With a lot of anxiety I called Air Lift to tell them of the problem. I assumed I'd get the fifth degree and have a lot of trouble. To my surprise Coreen was very pleasant. She did ask for the information from the label on the box. This was no surprise since the instructions said I would need that information. The missing parts were shipped two business day delivery and I installed the kit with no further problems. I would most definitely recommend Air Lift! I've only driven once around town and without a load so too soon to evaluate the performance. Lots of other reviews speak highly of that so I have no reason to believe it won't be good.

2005 Durango SLT AWD
For my 2005 Durango perfect. It was an easy installation for the most part. Getting the bags in was easy, getting the hose, spacer, and clamp on the top was the hardest part. If I was to do it again I would have the hose and clamp in place before inserting it into the coil spring. Great performance with my 19' wellcraft center console @ 20 psi!

cheap way to increase load capability.
these were easy to install and effective. I installed last year and they still work.

Defective product
I purchased a set of these air helpers for my Durango. Immediately after installation one of the units burst at the seams when inflated to the recommended 35psi. Air lift did send me a replacement second day air at their expense. However after installation it failed in the same manner within the first half hour of use. I do believe they have some manufacturing problems with this product. Amazon was great in helping me return the item for a full refund including shipping charges.MCB

Great supplemental suspension assist
I have a 2008 Chrysler Aspen and I tow a large travel trailer. I have always thought that the rear coil suspension was a little too soft. I bought these with confidence and they don't disappoint. I did not find issue with installation similar to others. It was rather easy. As mentioned if you kind of fold the billows like a hot dog and slide it in to the coils it's pretty simple. Great product and I would recommend to anyone who woudl like a little stiffer ride with their coil spring suspension vehicle. While towing I put the bags to 20psi. When driving normally I keep it at 10psi. 5 psi is the minimum recommendation.

Camper Comfort and Safety for under a Hundred Dollars.
I pull a 31ft HR Alumascape trailer with a 2005 Durango ltd with a 3.92 rear, a three speed auto and a Hemi. The trailer has a Hensley hitch, $3K, and it's worked beyond expectations. However, when I added a large inverter and 2 oversized golf cart batteries, the load leveling is at the limit of its range. I purchased the smallest air lift bags to move the load leveling back a bit to keep flexibility and range in the Hensley adjustments as a precaution. It is inexpensive, guaranteed and will be a needed backstop if I have any misadventures with my rig.

Fanny Lifter
Works great! Use it for towing camper. Levels my load and makes hitching and unhitching easier. It also rides better and my SUV rides more like a truck when it needs to or like an SUV when I want to.Easy install for the most part. Bags went in easy but attaching the clamp on the tubing on top of bag was difficult for me and not too sure how secure it is. That part took the longest. Other than that, the mounting of compressor, connecting wires and tuning was a cinch.
