Incorrect product description.
The product description states “Adjustable insert can fit 1, 1.25, 1.5, and 2.25 inches in pole diameter sizes”. This is incorrect. I have an umbrella that is 1.8” in diameter and it was in able to fit inside this umbrella stand.That being said the product image shows that the insert maxes out at 1 7/8” and that looks correct.The description is really at fault here. I just wanted to put this info out there to save anyone else the trouble of buying and returning if they have a larger umbrella.Also the weight is incorrectly stated. On the page it says it’s 9.07 kg (20 lbs) where in fact in the box it’s actually 12.3 kg (27.1 lbs).As for the quality of the item it’s actually quite nice and well built. If my umbrella had fit I would have happily kept the product.I hope this helps you make a decision.

Does the job
Came without the screws/hardware to hold umbrella in place as shown in the pictures. Super annoying as there was no way to request this without doing a full return. And Would have liked it to be a little heavier for a little more sturdiness. But it does the job.

Check that the post fits into the base ASAP
I loved the weight, durability of the parts and the design. However, the post which holds the umbrella and screws into the base was a completely different size (too small) and therefore, I am not able to use the base. I am looking now for a solution.
