This cleaver is a beast! It's rock solid!
After Christmas I decided a cleaver was needed when cutting up a turkey. My 10" chef knife struggled to do this. This cleaver is a beast. It's solid. It's got substantial weight to it. I considered other cleavers on Amazon at half the price or even less. I'm glad I went with this one and it compliments my set of Henckel knives.

Quality cleaver
Heavy cleaver. Weighs 14+ ounces. Very sharp. Good quality. Love the Zwilling 4-star line. Comfortable grip.

Nice cleaver for the home chef
For the majority of home cooks, this size cleaver is about right. It's a Henckels 4-star, so the quality of steel is there. This is not the kind of cleaver you'd use to chop veggies and such (look for a chinese style cleaver). If you're in to hacking up a lot of meat/bones, get a heftier one...

Wicked nice.
This is a hefty, well balanced cleaver that tackles any job with aplomb, then cleans up in the dishwasher and stays sharp almost forever. It will not fit in any block though, so (carefully) arrange a space in your knife drawer for this beauty.

the knife is good
but the package is too simple!!!! there is only something cover the cutting edge. the back of the knife is sharp. take care.

knife is not totally UNUSED NEW!
I bought 2 chopping knifes from this website shortly before my mother was abt to go back China to take as a gift. however, one of the knife was like used and with very clear curves on the shape side. must be some customer used it and return back.. which is really inappropriate when we were again paying for the money of a NEW one!!!!! due to time limitation I didn't initiate a change with the supplier. But I am looking forward to a Brand New knife from my purchase and a qualified quality control from the products supplier.
