Looks good but small amounts difficult to read
I like the look of this set of scales. However, how many people want to weigh several kilos at a time? Most want to be able to easily and accurately read small amounts for baking. This is difficult to do as the calibrations are so close together and not clearly marked. I had to revert to my small digital scales to make scones. Had I not unpacked this set I would have returned it.

Beautiful scales, great price
Nice looking scales, exactly as on photo. It is made from metal as far as I can tell so should last a while (as it should be clear from the price this is not a top of the range scales.) It has a small screw to set it to zero (in case you want to use a different bowl, etc.). The dial is clear and well readable. It arrives in three parts, two screws have to be fitted before you can use it - nothing complicated at all.It has already done a good job and feels like it is going to do so for quite a while longer.

Looked good but didn’t work.
Couldn’t return item as I threw away the box without trying it out first and couldn’t a way of messaging the buyer.The dial would not respond to the weight being pushed down on it, it would not work. Binned it- £22 down the drain.

Great scale :)
Great vintage looking scales. I bought for my mum as she has a vintage style kitchen but I didn’t want a traditional bulky scale. Happy with the price and she loves it because it shows weight in Kilo aswell as Pounds/oz. Only downside is that it would be great if the bowl fit upside down on the scale but this is only minor.

these are perfect no batteries required can not be doing with digital i'm old School, lovely big weighing bowl very happy with these , good value and good quick service

Very fiddly.
The bowl is much smaller than anticipated bearing in mind that it can weigh up to 10lbs of items e.g. Flour.With the size of bowl supplied this is not really feasible and the scale adjustment wheel is very small and fiddly requiring many turns to set.

Great buy
I love these, I never use metric and they have clear imperial measurements on them, sturdy too.The only downside perhaps is the bowl, it does tend to slip a little on the fitting so if you haveany problem with your hands you might find it easy to tip it up accidentally.But I would buy these again if I needed to.

great set of scales.. had no issues using it. i brought them as sick of my battery ones running out every 6 months when i only use them prob 5 times in that time.. so now i never have an ussue with weighing with these .. perfet
