nice leather cord, it is a bit oily/waxy but that will wear off. it also has a chemical smell, that will wear off too. i place in the garage for a few days to breath, it was in a tight plastic package, so this will help. nice color.

Great product, but thought it came on a roll/spool. Did not like that it came in a cellophane bag

I soaked mine just a bit so I could strech it. It is glued in sections and came apart. Better glue is neeeded.I glued it back together with super glue. Still the ad should say this is sectioned together with non water proof glue.

I purchased the metallic green and the color is BEAUTIFUL!! I was so excited to try it. I had trouble with it though and I guess it is the coating. I didn’t experience breaking like many of the other reviewers and I tugged and pulled on mine - even with pliers - but this cord refused to tighten. In the photo is another brand 1.5mm RAW leather cord and the knots are nice and tight. This green painted 1.5mm cord keeps puffing up and won’t stay tight. So I won’t be making Apple Watch bands with it or anything else that requires knots but I’m sure I’ll find something else pretty to do with it. I agree with others about the odor. Strong mildew smell from it but I think that it is paint and will likely air out.ETA: I ordered one of the MATTE colors (second pic) and it did much better with the knotting. I was able to fit all 5 knots in the space like the other brand but this new color also REEKED. After a few days airing out, it still smells but has more of a strong, natural leather odor and less mildew.

First, don't be fooled by the image; my order did not come on a spool, it was a loosely coiled bundle. Second, I've used 2 other brands of 2mm leather cord before and this stuff is really stiff compared to the other 2. You can use it but its not as supple as the other leather cords I've used.Also, I've seen a few reviews commenting on the smell. My order didn't have the 'mildewy' smell that they referred to but it did have a very prominent leathery smell that can be a little off-putting.I wouldn't recommend this cord for gifts or anything you might want to give to someone else, but it can work for practice or test projects

Polyurethane is NOT LEATHER. I’m sick of vendors hiding the information that the product is polyurethane instead of leather. Leather lasts WAY longer. PU flakes off.

This leather lace FEELS very good; although we're unable to grade upon "DURABILITY" yet... it's just too soon.The price was good, and initial feel is great.

This product is NOT useable!!!!!! I had to throw it out because it was very old and smelled of mildew. Tried to get smell out but a month later it was still there!!!!! Please read customer reviews BEFORE you buy. Many people had the same problem.

Ich wollte daraus ein Halsband flechten, zum Glück hab ich rechtzeitig gesehen, dass das Band nicht aus einem Stück ist, sondern aus mehreren Teilen zusammengefügt. Da ist Reissen vorprogrammiert, ganz schlecht wenn einem dann womöglich der Hund vor ein Auto läuft!Billiger Schrott made in China, ging postwendend zurück. Zudem war die Packung bereits geöffnet und mit Tesa verklebt - hätte ich theoretich kein Problem mit, aber wenn ich NEUWARE kaufe und bezahle, möchte ich auch Neuware haben und keinen Rückläufer, der weiss Gott wo war.
