This product originally came on a trike I had bought. After two months it started skipping, then failed. I took that one apart and found loose ballbearings and the ratchet gear and pawls chewed up. The exact replacement came. I immediately heard stuff rattling around inside. Then opted for a replacement. Second one came rattling also. So I sent it back.It was a smooth, easy process.The products arrived quickly.Easy to return.Just set back in time.

Two of them broke in a row. I had to change my entire hearing ratio. I don’t know how your product is rated so highly. It’s absolute trash.

This is a terrible product not sure if I got a faulty one but regardless of that mine worked for about a day and the ratcheting mech on the inside won’t grab anymore when I pedal forward it acts as if I were defaming backwards

Machining of piece is great! Filled it with lithium spray grease before install and I've put 1000miles on it commuting this summer! Still same as it was day I installed it. Free wheel noise is pretty quiet which I like, but it doesn't mimic some of the high dollar click-click-click units - fine with me! Excellent value!!!

After I figured out which way to install....notches outward.....it spun on easily and worked well. I recommend these as a good value for an inexpensive install for a single speed bike conversion.
