Purchased this Toyagator Hula Hoop for the grandkids to learn to use and get some fun playtime exercise in with. What I forgot is that their mom used to win hula hoop contests when she was their age, so she is having fun with it too. It's good for all ages; for beginners and pros. We used all six sections and, later, added one tablespoon dry rice to each section, which gives it a lovely "whoosh" sound. They like it both ways. This was easy to assemble. The plastic is fun, bright colors and is sturdy and durable, as well as comfortable to use. Happy to have this. Great fun, especially for the price. Would make a fun end-of-school or summer gift!

It’s hollow and a thick plastic. Durable. Bright pink and blue. Very light weight. It’s too light for me to make it work haha but my daughter goes forever. You can fill it if you want. We didn’t. Would buy again. Don’t think we will need to for a very long time.

The box claims that it is adjustable in size. There is no way to adjust the size. The hula hoop has to contain all six colors or it will not make a circle.The box also claims that there's an adjustable weight nothing came with it to adjust the weight. You wouldn't be able to use anything like water or it would leak out. I would suggest getting a regular hula hoop, this was a waste.

Perfect for hoola hoopingI bought it for my 5 year old daughter, its made up of thicker plastic that stayed aroud her waist to spin down around the knees and up again. She was so happy to try again and again...

Perfect for a 4-5 year old, especially since you can begin with the smaller diameter and then move up to the larger.
